| How attached is your Yorkie? Diesel is just awful! He is like my shadow! He is never more than 3 feet away from me unless he is outside taking care of business! Talk about a true lapdog! He is definately a mamma's boy. I would be so lost without him. Do you have one this attached? I just wonder if this is an extreme attachment. PLus I wonder if things are different for a mamma's boy vs a mamma's girl?

| Otis is attached when he's in the house, but if he's outside - forget it. He may check to see where I am every now and then, but otherwise I'm invisible. Oliver, my shih poo, is my shadow. He doesn't have the terrier drive to hunt when he's outside, so he's all about being with me all the time.

| Layla can go both ways.... when she is awake at home..she is always beside me or wanting me to play with her, but when she is sleeping it can be anywhere.. next to me... with my mom.. or even in the other room... we call her miss independant when she is doing that but she isn't SO attached that when i leave she is upset... so that is great! |

| Beau honestly will sit there and scratch at the door if I'm in the bathroom until I come out! I can't go anywhere without him and vice versa. But the minute we are outside, he GONE! He will chase anything that moves! And he won't look back until he's either caught it or given up. He's my little shadow inside though and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | My babies are pretty attached to me; especially indoors. Whatever room I am in, they are too. If I get up to do something, they follow. Much more attached to me than my husband. They stay close to him when I am not home. Even when we do go outside, after doing their business and/or seeing what's going on in the backyard, sooner or later they (especially Lucky) will be close by and/or wanting up on my lap.

| Diesel has never been a runner. We open up the door and he will go out to pee and come right back. If I am outside and he knows its he will beg to go out. My DH will let him out to pee and he will come running as fast as he can to find me. He just loves his momma LOL.

| Rosie is real attached but not to me She's real attached to my older sister who is only staying with me for a few months. What am I going to do with her once my sister moves out. For sleep though she has to sleep with me. Sometimes when I go to sleep before everyone else, she comes upstairs and sleeps by me. |

| My little mama's girl, Gracie, should have been named Velcro. She won't let me out of her sight unless it is to use her pee pad. She is at my feet when working, on my shoulder when watching TV, and curled up in my left arm when I am in bed. She follows me all over the place and cries if she can't find me.

| Abby is not too bad, she is ok if she's in the same room as me. But like everyone elses, once were outside she's GONE. Chasing after everything that moves. sometimes things that dont even move lol. I had my pug before I got Abby and I dont think she cries when I leave but I think thats b/c she's with him and not alone. I have heard that boys are more attached then girls but idk if that's true. I have also heard that girls are more protective.

| Mine are always at my feet, not more than two feet away at any given time....If i'm in the shower, they are on the floor waiting for me to get out. If i'm watching tv, they are in the chair with me or laying on the floor beside the chair....I'm happy it's in thier nature to be so protective, or always keeping an eye on us owners....it just shows their love for us. yorkiemomma7 |

| Roxy is soooo bad. That when i walk out the door she cries. If my mom is with her and I go to brush my teeth she cries. Its not good for her to be like that. |

| Mindy is always with me. My hubby will pick her up to cuddle with her and she will leave him to cross over the arm of the couch to get to me. He laughs and says you wouldn't want it any other way. The only place she can't follow yet is upstairs. She will go up a few stairs but that's it. I'm sure that will come real soon.
