I know some of your puppies have long full names on their AKC papers or just for fun. I am thinking about what name I want to put on Keeleys papers.

Just for fun. What are your dogs full names?

Well I never registered Sammi with the AKC...But her full name is Samantha Jean :) Sammi for short :)

Tini's registered name is Sapphire Martini Guennewig and the Tini comes from the end of Martini! Took me forever to figure out what I wanted to name her, so I named her after my favorite drink!
(I had to put in my last name since she is my baby!)

My boy's full name is Tucker Bunny's Tuff Guy Spikey - weird, I know, but it pays homage to my first two yorkies who are no longer living. My first was Spike and my second was Tinker Belle Farewell Spike who we mostly just called Bunny since she hopped everywhere - so that way, the ones I've lost are remembered in my new baby.
I don't know how long I'll be able to keep it up if I have future generations but it works for now.

My Babies' Names
 
Piper's full registered name will be Mr. Brightside's Piper Cub. Mr. Brightside after The Killers' song, which my daughter and I love and Piper Cub after the small, old airplane, for my hubby. My Chi's name is Titania's Pixie Dust. Titania after Shakespeare's Queen of the fairies in Mid Summer Night's Dream, but we usually just call her Pixie. And our Boxer's name is Beowulf Harley Henry Wilfong. Beowulf after the old 800 A.D. story of the warrior, Harley for Harley-Davidson of course, and Henry after my hubby's middle name ;) , and then our last name. Always fun to name our babies. I tend to find myself using their full names when they are in trouble, like I could always tell when I heard my Mom use my full name growing up that I was in for it :eek:

Having just recently gotten Olivia, I haven't registered her yet. I think I have to keep her Brazilian name for her Brazilian registry, though. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm hoping I can change her name when I transfer her registry over to AKC. Her Brazilian name is Eny. She's a liitle more special to me than just being "Eny" dog! As of right now, though, her full name is Olivia Nanette Eny.

Registered names are forever names with AKC..but you can give her an extra special call name.

Sully's AKC registered name is General Montgomery Sullivan (Named after my husband's favorite WWII General and "Sullivan" is from Sullivan's Island, SC, where we were married on the beach last year!)

I don't know what we are going to name Keeley quite yet, but I think we are going to throw Vegas in there. Because he was born when we were on our trip to Vegas. And we love going to Vegas.
