Tyke is Tyke Tyler (our last name) It's a funny story. My dad wanted to name our original Yorkie Fred...NOBODY wanted to name him that. Justin (brother) wanted to name him "Tyler" after his hamster that was...uhm...thirsty and decided a trip to the sump pump after getting loose would quench his thirst :rolleyes: Jason (brother) wanted to name him Pike because he was a hard core fisher for some kind of fish called "Pike"...I loved the name Tyler...my brothers liked the name Pike...so we came up with Tyke...which was a perfect name for him...cuz he is a Tyke :D We just stuck Tyler in the middle cuz we weren't sure what other name to choose.

Bubba...we're not sure. Everyone HATES his name. Our dumb neighbor decided to take it upon herself to name him "Sir Alexander" and started to call him Alex. Then someone else said he looked like a Teddy...so now he answers to all three names...we call him Bubba...our neighbor calls him Alex, and our friend calls him Teddy :rolleyes: Poor little guy has an identity crisis :p As far as I know Bubba is his only name thus far.

Oreo's is just Oreo Bear, Ginger's is Ginger Bear and Cloey's is Cloey Lyn Bear... and with the three bears i'm goldilocks.. :D

i've been wanting to register Ginger but, the person i got her from didn't have any papers.. so i don't think i'll ever be able to now. :(

Well Riley isn't registered. We just got TJ's papers today and we have no clue what to put down for the name. TJ stands for Theodore Junior. Any suggestions? We were thinking something on the lines of prancing because he runs (jumps) like a deer, not a dog! LOL

Jo's full name is 'Little Man Jo-Jo's Got Mojo' but he answers to Jo or Joseph William when he's in trouble but then he just wiggles from head to tail with that look on his face and the trouble disappears! Our last Yorkie was 'Little Man Tate' which evolved into Taterbug, Bug, Buggaboo, Woolybooger and finally Booger. That poor baby had so many names he'd come to just about anything! LOL!

Primrose Shorty Wanna-be-a-thug was the sire of my guy Rini's Lil Outlaw Jesse James. That is Jesse in my avatar.
I use Rini's in front of all of my registered names. Whisperin' Hope For Tomorrow is Whisper. Turns out her mom's name is Voice of an Angel

Rini's Blu Skyze Smilin at Me= Skylar
My last choc. boy is Rini's Milk Chocoalte Truffles+ Truffles.
I have to put their call name in their registered names so I don't forget who is who. AKC will register any name you send in but you might end up with Fido # 65 or such.

Toto's registered name is, Tyava's Out of Oz, Toto. However, we call her lots of names on different "occasions" and she knows who we're talking to!! ;)

I never did send in Lil 'E's registration, but his name is Dale Earnhardt Jr. We also have a Rottweiler that is AKC registered as Hank Williams! Our last name is Williams and we wanted to call him Hank! :)

Lady Galahad.......she was supposed to be Lady Lancelot but we got mixed up.
Autumn Rose II....I liked the sound of Arbor Mist but didn't think I should use it.
Lacijo is the name we gave her but her papers say "Myah's Asia Girl"
Mr. Big, first his call name was going to be Yucan(you can) but that is such a big part of our vocabulary that he didn't know when we were calling him so Mr. Big is his call name. When I send in his papers his full name will be "You Can Call Me Mr. Big" and yes I've already measured it and there is room on the application.

mine isn't that creative...but she is Sydney Michelle. The Michelle is named for her aunt Michelle (my friend who gave her to me as a gift).

My bad...I had the wrong mix. So that makes her a Jorkie? A Yorkussell? Ok..sorry. She's adorable and looks a lot like a Snorkie that a friend of mine has, so I assumed. :p

ps..that's funny that a jack russell and a yorkie would mate. Syd hates Jack Russells more than any other breed and refuses to go near them even if she is in my arms. :rolleyes:

I know - it is such an odd combination. I've only seen 2 others, besides her litter mates (on dogster) and I was so excited. I call her a Jorkie - people don't get it - but it give me a chuckle!! Her mom was a Jack and her dad was a Yorkie. There was a litter of 4. Biddy and her brother are blonde, and 2 other boys are dark and really looked like Yorkie pups. You wouldn't even know they were mixes. I'd love to see what they look like now.

Guiseppe is his original name. Jojo is after my dad, Joseph. Dancer is from Richard Pryor's movie "Jojo Dancer Your Life Is Calling You." And believe me, Jojo is soooo funny he should have starred in the movie :)

Yes, this is fun. I love looking at all the names. My Sophie's AKC name is Sophia McCurdy Gimm and my boy Sammy is Sampson McCurdy Gimm. Sammy doesn't have papers tho. His parents were rescued in Kuwait. His background is from Hungry. No papers then but he is still pure and a great pup.

Kizzys full registered name is Bama Dixie Doll. I was gonna call her Dixie Doll then it just didnt seem to fit for some reason, I think you have to be with them a while before something just seems to fit them best. Kizzy just seems to fit her for some reason. I actually wanted to call her cry baby :eek: :usaheart: but in all honesty, she hasnt cried since I got her like lots of puppies whine and cry during the night. I put her in her bed , she goes to sleep and sleeps the whole night. Only three times I have had to get up and take her out in 6 weeks. Hubby said if she ends up 10 lbs thats gonna sound funny to call her cry baby. So we just call her Kizzy. fits too. lol
Matter of fact, she sleeps most mornings till at least 7:30 and sometimes its 9 am before we get up. couple times i've gotten up and she never knew it and I just went back to bed and woke up about an hour later and got up and had to wake her up. Was beginning to think she musta died. lol

Dantes will be...Prince Dante of Elegance ..that isn't set in stone of course..i could change my mine from now til i register him..but his name Dante is..I love historical romance and anything to do with scotland...Lords, knights all htat..so if i come up with something that pertains to that ..his name will prob change but so far i haven't..any suggestions..

Tonee's is Labeau Noella Antionette (lovely noel antionette) lovely because she is, and noel because she was born in december, antionette because I knew she would be called tonee and came across antionette. Gypse is Gypse Curioso, we did not name him so not sure if there was a reason behind it.

We are about to send in Dixie's papers, and her registered name is

Little Miss Dixie Althea Doodle Dandy

Dixie is because I am from South Carolina, but living in Ohio and I miss the south! Althea means "Healer". We got Dixie after the death of my beloved Westie died. I believe Dixie is healing my heart... The rest is just fluff! :)
