| worried about my babies just venting...the fire department had to come to a neighbor's house a couple of days ago...they were burning trash in a metal can during a statewide burning ban (drought).... this morning the neighbor saw me walking my dogs outside and call me a "%$$# snitch" and told me to stay in my own "$^#%$# yard" and now I'm worried about leaving my babies during the day while I'm at work.... they can see my husband leave at 6 am every day and me leave about 8 am and know the dogs are in the house (never outside alone)...we have a fence for them so they won't leave their yard but I used to walk them in the morning before it got hot...they do drugs and I wouldn't put it past them to do something to my babies. roxanne

| What I would do is go to your local police department, you'll get better results if you go in person and tell them what happened, the whole situation, and what was said and that it makes you uncomfortable. Express that you don't want anything done, but that you would like to make record of it just in case. It doesn't hurt!

I'd be worried too. Do they blame you for calling the fire department? I'd go to the police and write up a report too - but I'd try to get someone to drive by once or twice during the day to check on my dogs if possible. Good luck and keep us posted.

| Sorry, I can't offer much advise. I'd just suggest that maybe you make a call to police and let them know she threatened you (which it seems like she did). Hope everything goes well for you. |

| I'd be scared too. Any possibility of you guys installing an alarm system? They're not too expensive, sometimes they are free is you purchase a monitoring package. I'd call everyone you know and ask them to drive by the house whenever they can, pull into the driveway maybe and walk around your property. This would make that neighbor think twice about setting foot on your property.
