My vet told me that she treats soooo many yorkies around the holiday season for colitis because of all the extras they have been fed by their owners and/or family members. She never indicated to me that it was fatal - she was just warning me about the tendacy in yorkies to have this problem more than some other breeds and encouraged me to give no human food.

I don't know what caused this for Peebles but I'm keeping her in my thoughts.

I look forward to an update after daybreak.

we wanted to send our get well wishes as well. I just know she will be ok, and pull through. I know your heart must be breaking right now, and I am sorry you have to be apart from you baby. Just know even though she isnt with you right now, she is thinking of you and getting better so she can be back with her mommy really soon.

Im so sorry for you and Pebbles. I remember reading in your first post that she was eating plenty of bones and stuff like that. I dont know if this will help, but when I first go Louie I gave him a hard snack bone type of thing and he got sick and had blood in his poop. Maybe those treats have upset Pebble's system and that is simply all that it is and that is why the vet could'nt find anything else wrong. Maybe without those treats for a while her system will have a chance to calm down and she will be all better. Good Luck Hun. and God Bless!
