Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() oh i'm sorry, I know you must be so sad, but you did what's best for J.J. and your son. Maybe in the near future you can get a young puppy that can grow along with your son and get used to him from an early age. |

Yeah we may go to our shelter to see if any animals need adopted. I told hubby I might volunteer to just keep busy for like one day a week. We still have Tilly. She doesn't mind Chase. Thank goodness!

| ![]() Oh Im soooo sorry you had to do that! I know some of these guys are sooo good with children and some are not. One of my boys is good with children and the other is not... he has not snapped at one yet, but I wouldnt put it past him. I don't blame him though bc hes never really around children so he has no idea what to do with them! Sounds like you had the ideal situation with JJ though! I know it hurts but its a bit more reassuring when the breeder that he loves can provide him a loving home! You did your best girl... don't beat yourself up! (((HUGS)))

| ![]() I'm so sorry for you..but you did the right thing for your family and JJ...I know it can work in some circumstances but i do think getting a toy breed with very young children is not an ideal situation but that is just my opinion, which i feel very strongly about having seen what can happen for myself. It can be extremely hard work to supervise both the child & pup at ALL times. This was obviously how JJ learnt to 'defend' herself in her previous home, by snapping at the small child and it may take a while for her to gain confidence around children.
