YT 500 Club Member | Need Help I just PMed DaisyMae, and I am looking for help from everyone else. My vet has a Yorkie or Silky that needs a home. He is about 12 years, and she said that she will take care of the neutering and heart worm, etc. if I can help her find a home and care for him. I am meeting her today at 9:30 to see him and may take him home. If anyone would be able to help with finding a good home for this little guy, please let me know. Thanks so much.

YT 500 Club Member | I met the little guy this morning. He is a sweetie and definitely a Yorkie. He was so scared. I took mine along, and they did okay, and we also had a cat in the room too. He seemed to be okay with cats. The vet is keeping him this week and will test him for heartworm and neuter him if she finds out that it is okay. She is worried that if the original owner is found, they may not be happy with that. She plans to call Animal Control to get advice. If his owner is not found be week end, we will be fostering him, and we will be looking for a good home. Thanks so much for the help. If we get him, I will post more on the re-home site. Anyone in Nebraska/Iowa who may be looking for an older Yorkie, I would be happy to talk. Anyone outside the area, we could probably work something out. Please keep him in your prayers that his real parent/s come forward. Right now, we don't even know his name.

YT 500 Club Member | To anyone who may be interested in this little guy, I have learned more. He is an elderly gentleman who seems to be potty trained. He is heartworm negative and does not seem to have internal parasites. He is being treated with an antibiotic for a cough that the vet thinks may be collapsed traecea (sp?). He has three teeth and cataracts. So, I am not sure if there will be many people who want this little guy. There will be an lost and found notice in the paper for seven days. If no one claims him, he will be neutered and placed for adoption. We will probably foster him. I will then put him on the re-home site.
