| Good News! I took Rebel back to the vet Friday for a checkup after his LP surgery. He was supposed to have the other leg operated on the same day. The vet checked him out thoroughly and said he didn't feel the need to do the other surgery now. His exact words were, "This little guy is wide open. He's obviously not in pain from the LP and isn't favoring the right leg at all." He said that he always hesitates to anesthetize little dogs and said he'd like to wait and check Rebel again in about a year (sooner if problems arise). Then he played with him for 15 minutes before we left and didn't even charge us for the visit We left there and busted PetSmart wide open I bought all kinds of goodies for Rebel and Lucy.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Wow, that's incredible. It's amazing how they can bounce back so quickly. Good luck keeping him from overdoing it!

| Awe...it sounds like you have an incredible vet! What most (including mine) won't do to make a buck is really sickening. Most overcharge overcharge overcharge, but it sounds like you've really lucked out! I see you're only in Georgia...maybe I should start coming there for a vet ...only kidding, but I wish we had a better one around here. Don't get me wrong, mine is great, but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ expensive! Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent...oops.... That is really great the Rebel is doing so well, and I hope he continues to do so far into the future!!! Glad you got him and Lucy some goodies at Petsmart

Come on down!! We'll let the babies play like crazy. Actually, I'm coming to TN in November for a week and am really looking forward to it.
