How much fighting is too much???? I have a problem with my male Yorkie & my male Shih-Tzu. They just cannot get along. I have tried neutering and that didn't work, I then got a crate for both of them to stay in during the day while we're at work. Of course they do just fine in their crates but as soon as I let them outside they start giving each other the look & start growling and that starts a fight. I love them both very much but this is very frustrating. I get so upset when they start fighting and so do my two young kids. What else can I do? I know rehoming would be an option but I hate to have to do that. They get along perfectly with the other pets they just hate each other. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Pam

Fighting No this is real fighting. They get locked up fighting & it takes me and my husband to get them apart. I've seen blood from their fighting before, I wish they were just playing.

I second the "play fighting". I have two guys that can seem like they're really going at it, but they're just playing.

And how long have you had them? Which one did you get first? How old are they?

Mm.. I amnot sure. You might be able to type in "fighting dogs" in the search bar. Luckly mine just play fight. I think its a dominence issue. ANd maybe if you let them know that you are alpha dog, that might help.

| I agree let them know your the Alpha and you won't tolerate the fighting. The only bad part is that I heard once they draw blood they won't stop fighting. Hope that's not the case with your two.
