I'm so very sorry about your baby. I hope everything works out. It must be a big lift for them when they hear mom's voice when they are so sick. It just might help them pull through. Just imagine how scared they are when they are laying there and then to hear mom talking to them.

I am so sorry to hear about your baby. I hope he will come through this. Listen to the vet....time does heal. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh I am so sorry that your little pup is not well. Your fiance probably feels worse cause he may be blaming himself. But it was an accident. I can't tell you how many close calls we had when Bo was little and still do. They are just so quick and you almost have to do a little dance sometimes to keep from stepping on them. I will certainly be praying for your little one. Keep us posted.

Update on Joey
 
:) :)

Just got a call from the vet - she said they are "very pleased" with Joey's reaction to the medication. He is responding more and more and we are going to visit him tonight at 6pm. I can't wait to see my baby.

Please keep the prayers going - they are working!!!

I am soo sorry! I will pray for him and you also. I will think of that blue light coming to him and St. Francis standing over him! If it were me, I am afraid I would be there as much as I could! They know aheir owners and sometimes that will give them a boost! Each vet is different though, so you will have to call and ask if you may come and see him. Good luck, and know everyone here is very concerned for the both of you.

Thank you - I will tell Joey about all of you who have supported us through this and that you all love him. jYea! We will keep praying! So glad he is improving . That's pretty quick, so maybe the little guy will have a speedy recovery! Let's all pray!

I just now saw this and read EVERY post to see if you updated on poor little Joey...and saw you did. I want to tell you how very very sorry I am this happened...and how GLAD I am he's responding. There IS hope for your baby - It's the scariest thing when they're hanging on in the hospital...my heart goes out to you and your fiancee and Joey

Johnsea- never under estimate the power of positive thinking. Glad to hear your baby is doing well with the medication. I read about your post this morning and had to check back to get an update on Joey. We're all pulling for him. :love:
