| i go to petsmart almost every week. there is this rude b---h there and one time she had the nerve to tell me the one that never stays quiet. that why do i put clothes on misty if shes only a dog and she also said to me evrytime she sees me she has something different on and that she probably hates wearing them. so i told her that my dog has probably more clothes than her and she gave me the look. and if she had a problem with people putting clothes on dogs that she should not be working in a pet store shes really rude. she doesnt like dogs to bark or nothing i think she has the wrong job

| Is this overdoing it? Yorkie with a bow, drees, sunglasses and shoes. You with a Juicy Couture carrier, Louis Vuitton purse, Chanel sunglasses, skinny jeans, and knee high boots, yorkie in one hand, and Vitawater in another. Too much... you think? |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | First, thank you Snoopy42 for the nice comment about Izzy. Well this is nice to hear that most of you have had positive feedback on our furkids wearing clothes....I know that when the kids in the neighborhood see Izzy dressed they all want to come and see her!

| I would say 95% of the comments are positive. I think people making rude comments are just rude no matter what situation they are in. Right now I'm not dressing up Cookie or Angel that much because we've been having 95-100 degree weather.I do put a dress on my Maltese because her body is shaved down almost to the skin and her face hair and tail have long hair I put tank shirts on my boys sometimes now but always indoors because of the heat, but I have tons of outfits for them! I really don't care if people say " Why are you dressing a dog?! Honestly my answer now is " Why not ?" ," I love how they look and Cookie goes nuts jumping in circles when he sees me taking out a shirt/outfit! lol He tries to put his head right in before I can open the shirt lol. In the beginning it really bothered me but after dressing Cookie up for the past 3 yrs people mostly always say "OMG how cute is that! " Genie Cookie Lola Angel |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | That is so true! Girls must love to see a guy with a yorkie dressed up. When Teddy was a puppy it was a little cold outside so he had on this jacket when we walked him. Me and my bf were walking a few blocks and i went in this store to get this drink i get while he waited outside with Teddy. When i came back out there were 2 girls chatting with him. When they saw me they were like "Ok bye" LOL

| I haven't gotten any rude comments so far. I usually get oh he's so cute. I have blue jeans, a polo shirt, a green (reversible to white) winter vest and boy bows. and a hat that i dress cody in. and i get a few laughs but its cause they think he is sooo darn cute . i think he is the cutest in his jeans! if i ever get a rude comment i think i would walk away. because i really could care less. its my baby and i will do as i wish . if i feel that he wants the clothes off then i will . but it doesnt seem to bother him being dressed up. and im SURE he will thank me when winter comes |

| I've been dressing my lil doggies since I was a was very young. I used to make some things, because there wasn't much available then. Now, I don't have the time to make things, but there are a lot of things available. I've never had any rude comments. I've only seen one woman role her eyes, but that was just a reaction of jealousy. I paid no attention. Just kind of grinned! I love to see them in cute clothes.

| I personally love these little fashionistas! The rude comment people are making a choice to look at them, if they don't like it,they should just look away...or better yet, look in the mirror and see what a disater their attire probably is. You could always tell them that opinions are like.......hehehee...well,you know! |

| I've had a guy ask why I dress my dogs that they arent people. He was filthy dirty and was just jealous because the dogs looked better. Most of the time I get good comments.
