| Chewing on the walls.... Bella has been chewing on the corners and the flat part of the wall and tearing off the drywall spackling. I dont know what to do. She does this if I go upstairs for a little bit and she is downstairs by herself. She normally doesn't cause problems, but this is what she has been doing. She did it a little bit when she was teething and then stopped, but now she is doing it again. Does anyone have this problem or know what I can do to correct her from this behavior. Thanks everyone!!! |

| I don't know what to tell you to help with this, but Hallee went through this. Once she started, Gracie followed. They kept doing this in two places. We had to put stuff up against the wall where they were chewing so they could not get to it anymore. I guess finally they stopped. I just had to keep a close eye on them and kept telling them NO, Stop ect.

| There was a thread about this and I think it was in the training section, you should go look there to see if they found a solution. |

It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | [QUOTE=Amy81;1338728 have you tried that Bitter Apple spray??? i also heard to rub some clear deodrant on it too. Good Luck !!![/QUOTE] I would also try Bitter Apple or Bitter Lime. I noticed this morning my three pups are tearing off wallpaper in their safe zone. I guess they want to redecrate, but don't know that's the newest paper in the house. I taped the edges since I gave them that area. and I gonna try the bitter stuff. or maybe the deo. I didn't know about that. Good luck

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I dont know how to stop it but I can tell you why they do it. My vet said drywall is full of protein they have a natural attraction to chew it, kinda like cat poo...that's full of protein too! Gross but true!
