| Need help!!!!!!! Deiter has the poops again. Last Mon or Tues he was at the Vet over night for the poops. They didn't find nothing sent him home with special dog food. That was gone on Fri now he is eating his own. Well today he started with the runs again. Does any of you have any idea what I might do or suggest what I need to tell the Vet to run on test. He acts fine except for the poops. he plays, eats, drinks. I am just at wits end on this. I am so scared that something is very wrong and we are over looking it. |

BANNED! | I would see if he will eat a teaspoon full and then let him eat some dry kibble afterwords. Tomorrow if his stool is still loose in the am do the same thing again. You just need to give his tummy time to adjust to the food change, just make sure if he has diarrhea really bad you give him nutrical, karo syrup or some honey and plenty of water to keep him hydrated and not have low blood sugar issues. The vet checked him for parasites right??? Here's a helpfule post http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...canned+pumpkin Last edited by tiggerr36792; 08-26-2007 at 07:23 PM. |

| Yes, the Vet did Check him for parasites. This all started while on Vacation about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I know about keeping him from dehydrating and I watch that very closely. But I will do the pumpkin thing. I know I tried that while on vacation but I only gave him very little. I had a hard time to get him to eat had to almost force it. But I will try again. My concern is that going back to the food (his) I would think it would not make him poop about every half an hour, That is why I am getting really worried that I am going thur this all over again. This will be the 3rd time in less than 4 weeks. I appriecate all your help and support. |
