I did google the number and got a name and address, of which the MOD person was not familiar with at all. And although they claim not to "solicit" this type of donation, they admit to auctioning off puppies that have been voluntarily donated.

Well apparently "someone" wanted one of your pups for free for something and it was NOT to give it a loving home. Thanks for posting the info here, it helps everyone be aware of all the underhanded people out there.

Yes, and there are scammers out there hoping to score, so we just have to beware. Whether this instance is one or not.

2) If you DO have puppies, where have you been advertising?

I ran an ad in the local paper. That is what I thought.......SCAM.
