| Know what guys? I have really felt convicted about posting such a negative thread. So I'm appologizing. *holds out wrist, ready for a slap* I really appreciate everyone's support. I guess my ideas just grew out of hurt feelings that people that know me and are close to me could be so rude and uncaring about what is important to me. But, when I go off and get all negative then I'm just as bad as Morticia, etc. And Julie1, you're a good sport. I knew my choice of descriptions would get me in trouble. I appologize for that too. If I could edit it I'd say "the Queen of Sheba", hehe.

| My grandfather doesn't really like animals in general...but he will tolerate them for his family's sake (all 4 of his children have cats and dogs in the house...2 with two cats, the other two with one dog each.) When my husband and I were there for Christmas, he specifically asked us wehre Sully slept. Well, I knew better and told him that Sully sleeps in his kennel. ...but once we went into our bedroom, we locked the door and Sully slept with us in the bed, hehe! I just don't "get" people who don't like animals!!!!! I understand if someone has allergies, but you can't be allergic to yorkies! So what's the problem! The proper reaction to a yorkie is to awww and pet him/her and be jealous of the owner! Haha!

| I'd just like to say after the past miserable 4 days with someone visitng me-----DITTO!!! She came to see me from home after being at training for work and I was so excited but she had the nerve to come into my home and say the following: "I'd thought you would at least get rid of your dogs for the weekend" "Your dogs are such a nuisance" "Why do they bark?" "Dogs are so smelly and gross" "I can't believe they sleep with you and they have so many useless toys" The list goes on, needless to say we are no longer friends. And I'm ok with that after all this is Simon and Hallie's apartment, bed, couch, etc.....and I wouldn't have it any other way! Sorry I needed to vent, I'm really upset! |

| HAHAHA.......I can so relate to this thread. My boyfriend has this buddy that he was in the army with and they are pretty close. They were in fact roommates until the guy got married to this chic. Well, they came to visit us about a few months ago. Now you are all pretty familiar by now with me and you know that I do alot of work with dog rescues and the humane society. I had a rescue dog, my rottweiler, Recon and Memphis here. She comes into MY house and looks at my dogs like they are aliens. I finally convice her to have a seat only after giving her a towel to sit on so she didn't get dog hair on her precious jeans. Recons jumps up next to her and does his famous paw on shoulder routine. She jumps up and says " you f-ing MONGREL get the f away from me." then she looks at me and tells ME that I need to teach my dogs some f-ing manners. HAHAHA After composing myself from laughing so hard and drying my tears from laughing, I got really nice and close to her face and with my index finger firmly pointed, poked her in the chest and said "listen B**** you need to take your skany a** and get the F outta my house before I throw you out. Then I told her that Recon has a name and he is in no way shape or form a mongrel and told her that she is never EVER welcome in my house EVER again. No one calls my dog a mongrel. Hell I would throw my gramma out if she acted like that to my dog. Sorry but I would, |

| I come from a family of "non dog/cat/pet" people. When I told my mom I got Keeley she was so nice about it, but I wonder what she really thinks. I am going home to visit in a few weeks and I am thinking about taking Keeley with me. She said it was fine, so it'll be interesting to see how they act. But I have gotten a few "Why would you get a dog?" comments when we tell people we got him. It is just kind of rude. I don't question their choice in car, home, if they have kids or not. I assume that people make the choices they make, because that is what suits them. I just wish others would do the same. kwim? |
