| ![]() If you are spending money for a quality bred dog, why would you be opposed to a sales contract? The contract protects you and along with the contract is AKC approved, family lineage. Would you purchase a new car without a warranty?

to answer your question, 18months to 2 yrs. since you asked the question, i can see you don't know anything about breeding. you need to read and study on whelping. know your lines as well as the studs lines. make sure they are both of good standard. what health problems they could carry on to the offspring. was the mother a free whelper? why are you doing this? you can read some of the past post of the problems that will arrise when whelping.

From time to time , peoples ask me to let my pups go intact and they will write a contract for me to sign . The answer is always no . I always give a health guaranty . | |

| ![]() If the breeder is reputable then they will have a contract for you to sign , you shouldn't have to bring your own. I have never heard of someone bringing a contract for the seller to sign. If the breeder is a vet, he knows if his dogs are healthy and without genetic disease.
