| Going to be a Yorkie Mom!! As some of you may or may not know, I've been on a search to find myself a perfect little Yorkie baby. I am proud to announce that I will be getting a little boy from Shari (Sweetsophia) Her puppies won't be ready until October, but that gives me plenty of time to shop for supplies, look for a good vet/groomer, and also puppy-proof the house. I'm both excited and nervous at the same time. I really want to get the puppy off to a good start. Does anyone have any tips/advice/recommendations for new Yorkie owners? The good, the bad and the ugly - I'd love to hear it all! Oh, and if anyone wants to see pictures of the precious litter, they're in this thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91066. Can't wait to be a Yorkie Mom! |

| Congradulations! It is so exciting to plan for your little one!! We (Myself, DH and 4 kids) are also waiting for our little boy to come home. We have spent so much time talking about and planning for "Leo". Every weekend we have been at the store, purchasing a few more items. I have also spent many hour on YT looking for answers to all kind of questions: food, shampoo, potty training. I hope your wait goes by quickly! |

| I've been doing the exact same thing! All I ever do on the internet these days is read about Yorkies, or look at pictures of them I've stopped in pet stores to look at all the cute stuff, but I haven't bought anything yet since I hadn't even decided where I was getting my puppy. It was made official yesterday when I put down a deposit, so now I'm set to go out and shop...hopefully I don't go too overboard Quote:
