Todays the Day..
 
Aubrey is getting neutered. I hope everything works out, relating to my post yesterday!!!! I couldn't sleep ANY last night, and I kept thinking should I do this, but I know that I need to, so lets just hope everything goes well. PLEASE keep my in your prayers, as I will prob cry when I drop him off.. :(. I will update you, becuase I will either have the vet call me or I will call them! Thanks guys!

Good luck, be a big brave boy Aubrey. I always cry when I have to drop them off, its heartbreaking.

Aww Aubrey is in my prayers, everything will be fine :) and just think he'll be much healthier the older he gets because his mommy cared enough about him to get him neutered :)

Dropped Off
 
I dropped him off. I have to call back at 3:00 today to check on him and talk to the Doctor, thats going to be FOREVER!!!! :confused:

We'll be thinking about Aubrey today - it will be fine - we just went through it in June with Izzy and I was so worried since she's so little. Are they keeping Aubrey overnight? My vet did to keep an eye on her but since being on YT I see most go home the same day. I'm glad they kept her overnight and most of next day - then I knew when I brought her home she would just be sore and tired.

Keep us posted and we'll say a pray that Aubrey gets through with flying colors. :p

He will be fine,i will say a prayer for aubrey for a fast recovery and that you can take him home early today,i will be praying for you also.

I'm sure everything will be fine for your little guy, but I'm sending you hugs anyway. I have to schedule that appointment for Gizmo, and I keep putting it off. It's the best thing, it's just tough.

Thanks. It depends on how hes doing after the surgery. I will find out when I call the doctor at 3 today.

I know how you feel Wicket just turn 6 mos yesterday and I was planning on having him done next month, but my vet wants to wait until he gains a little more weight Wicket weighs 3lbs 10oz right now, When I had Ichabob netured I actually stay at the vets and waited. I have a great vet, they said I could watch but I didn't go that far. he was fine that afternoon and the next day he was his old self. so don't worry he will be fine, I know easiler said then done.

Everything went well. He's still asleep and I think that I am going to be able to bring him home!!!!!!!!! I have to call her back at 4:30 now!!! I am sooo relieved! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Thats me and Dakota!

Yeah, they originally make them stay over night, but I made a big deal about it and I had him there AT 8 this morning, so theres no reason for him not to come home.

I just had Kilby neutered on Friday and he is doing great! The hardest part is the silly collar that he has to wear so he can't get at his stitches. I am amazed how fast he has adapted to that thing and how quickly he has recovered. The hardest part is keeping his activity restricted. Since he feels fine he wants to play and be his usual rambunctious self! He gets his stitches out on Tuesday and I can't wait.

Good luck...I am sure your baby will be fine!

I wonder if Aubrey has to wear a collar, they never said anything, guess I will find out. I see that you are in Ga where at are you?
