Is a car seat necessary?

I never could keep Gracie in a regular car seat. She did not feel secure and wanted to be close to me. The snoozer console made her feel secure and of course is very close to me.

Glad to hear that you decided on a Snoozer. Shelby & Seymour have oversized one that they ride in. I am in agreement with many others on YT, that a carseat is pretty important. Afterall..... not only is a yorkie a "part of the family" but also usually a pretty big investment. (as are all pets!! )
If you search the threads, there is one YT that had a pretty bad accident with her yorkie. The carseat saved him from injuries. Something to think about....

Hi Kathy and Lucy - we just tried out our console Snoozer yesterday (we have the tiny size) for our drive to Dover for our Ohio Meet Up and you guys were all right..thanks YT! Izzy adjusted to it immediately and slept all the way there and all the way back with some intermittant stretches to look out the window. I loved the fact that she was right next to me so that I could give her a smooch here and there. I'm glad I didn't get the one that fits in the back seat or passenger seat....she would have been crying to get to me. I couldn't take pics since...well...hahaha...I was driving so we'll have to wait until hubby drives and then I can take pics. For those contemplating on getting one..don't....it's worth it and they take to it right away...I thought she would be fighting to get out but she didn't. I did however leave it in the middle of our kitchen floor so that she could get used to seeing it and sitting in it prior to us installing it and just plunking her in it.

Not only are they contained so they don't get hurt, they're high enough to see out the window, eat a snack in or even take a nap and I don't worry about them getting hurt jumping around in the car, especially if I'm driving. Such distractions could cause an accident.

What cute pictures of your babies in their carseats!! What brand of carseat and who sells this one??? And they are just for the back seat??
