| Anyone else experience this? Tucker is 7 months old and still trying to get the hang of the whole potty training thing. He does a pretty good job pretty much most of the time (with the exception of bowel movements). The house we live in right now is on a corner and does not have a fenced-in yard so when it's time to go out we need to go out and sit with him until he goes...no biggie. The issue is this...he will cry and bark to go outside even when he doesn't have to go...just to be outside. It's getting to the point where we can't really get a whole lot done since we're in and out and sitting outside a bunch. We definitely take him out to potty enough on our own (about once an hour or two) and I make sure he has a good walk at least once a day...sometimes twice. We play inside and go to the dog park once or twice a week, too. Any advice on what to do or should I fully commit to being a slave to the boy and spend the majority of my day outside? Oh, one other thing...we do have a yard stake that he can go on sometimes but our neighbor has a really annoying dog that she keeps outside virtually all the time (poor baby) and so I can't just put Tucker outside by himself because he'll just stand at the edge of the yard barking at the other dog because he wants to play with him (which he can't because both yards are not fenced in). The house we are in right now is not the house we will be in in a few months (which, thank goodness, does have a fence). What's a girl to do?

| I got a little leash 30 foot for Aubrey, because he loves to be outside, just like your boy and he doens't have to do anything. And where my leash is, he can also go in the shade.. Becuase right now our yard isn't fenced in and he will wonder off. Try that. They have sets you can get at Petsmart. Thats also how I potty trained him. Because he likes to do his business in secrecy! |

| He'll get the hang of it eventually. With all the thefts of Yorkies, I'd be really scared to just tie him out Not only that, but he'll be a sitting duck if a bigger dog comes by.
