X-Rays Lucy had her x-rays this morning. They say that there are three (possibly four, but, they doubt it) I posted pics of them. The said by looking at her hips and pelvic that she should be able to have them naturally. The white rounded spots are the heads and the little white lines are the spines. Also, my scales where off by a pound and half so she was actually closer to 5lbs when she got pregnant. So that is alot better than 3.5...lol I bought a new set today. So, I will be able to weight the babies when they get here. They think she is due within the next 7-10 days. But, she started loosing fluid this morning and her temp has been running about 100.8 and this morning it was 99.7. But, the vet said their temp can drop for days before and they can loose fluid for up to two weeks before they deliver? I haven't read that any where but, I am not a expert by any means...lol So it looks like I will have a house full of fur babies in a few days Have a great day, Laura, Lucy & Max

Now my only problem is I made her a bed for her and the babies but, Max won't let her have it. I have actually gotten two and he won't let her have either one. I have slept with their blankets to give it my scent like the book I read said and put, it in the beds and he takes over both of them if she tries to lay in either he shoves her out? Any ideas on what to do? Last edited by lkyorkies; 08-16-2007 at 09:40 AM. Reason: spelling

| thank goodness i am not a vet. i cannot see anything in the xrays. congrats on the babies. i hope all goes well with the whelping. i need a new scale. i have a food scale w a plate on it but the babies wiggle around so much, i cannot get a good weight on them. is this a scale that hangs and you place the puppy in a harnest?

If the vet hadn't explained it to me I would not have been able to see anything...lol No it is one with a bowl but Lucy fit perfectly in it and it's digtal so it is great. I was so glad that she weighed the same in it as on theirs...lol She did however gain 14 oz since she was there last week.

I love looking at the xrays. I can see three for sure. Looking at the xray, there are 2 to the left, you can see the heads and skeletons and one on the right. The one on the right is really hard to make out. You can see the skull. Congratulations and Good Luck!! Last edited by char7; 08-16-2007 at 11:53 AM.

Ok here are my Babies before all of this happened...I had to take their picture quick they had just had a bath and had been trimmed up and even had their hair so that you can see their eyes... Another words before they could go roll around on the bed and mess it all up or pull the bows out of Lucy's hair...lol Max is really good at removing them for her...lol
