| I give up! I see pictures on here of everyone's babies and they all look so well-groomed and beautiful and CLEAN. I try with Susanah. I really do. I try HARD! She is just such a tomboy and always a complete mess! When I had Annie-Belle she always looked clean and just stunning. I follow pretty much the same routine with Susanah as I did with her, but for some reason Susanah just never keeps that freshly groomed appearance for more than 10 minutes. With Annie-Belle, if I wanted to take her with me, I could always just scoop her up and head out the door. With Susanah, it takes an hour to get her ready and presentable. Annie-Belle's hair was lighter in color (more silvery) and she had a cottony coat. Susanah is much darker and has a silkier coat. I didn't think color and texture made that much of a difference. I guess maybe it does.

| Awe, sounds like Aubrey, I can groom him and then comb his hair, and then he looks beautiful, then he shakes it and rolls around like a pig. Do you groom her or do you take her somewhere. I started out taking Aubrey and he did fine and then I started doing it and he does wonderful with me, altough he won't let me cut his nails.. |

| Oh please. Penny looks like she's been in a fight with a tiger five minutes after I dress and groom her. I'll have to post a picture of Miss Piggy Penny.

| I've been grooming her myself. I can't find anyone around here who will groom without her having her rabies vac, but I want to wait until she is 6 months to get that. I guess I'm going to have to break down and do it now (She's 5 months) that way I can have done professionally so hopefully she'll look cute for the meet up!

| I know how you feel. I pay a fortune and frequently to have Bruce's hair cut, I comb him daily usually twice, wash his little face and paws at night, basically do my best to keep him up, and never fail it only last a couple hours and he has gotten into something...Half the time you would think he never gets brushed to look at his legs, although I suppose they are just messy never matted...I too sometimes feel frustrated he does not look quite as well put together as some of the other adorable little guys and gals I see.

| Hang in there, girl! Once you can get her to the groomer, just have all the puppy fur taken off and it should get better. She's a doll, even if she is a tomboy.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Dear lord she must be related to Lulu. Last night I looked over at her and she looked like Don King. I had to ask the kids if they saw her playing with the light sockets.

| She is 20 weeks and 3 days. Right at that "awkward" age. Her hair is long enough to get in her eyes, but not quite long enough for a topknot. She still has that puppy fur, but its very silky everywhere but right around her feet where its cottony and mats if you think about it too hard. She's teething again so we've gone from both ears down to both ears up to one ear up and one ear down.

| LOL... Don't worry girl, you're NOT alone... Maggie's hair is ALWAYS a mess.... I groom her and try my best to make her as neat as other yorkies in YT, but I think she just likes to be messy... |

| I remember the ear thing with Diggy! He's such a cutie no matter what his ears were doing for the day. I hope it passes soon. I'm tired of her looking like a dirty mop!
