| I didn't notice any difference in Lacy's personality or weight after spaying. She was spayed about a year and a half ago and had already calmed down some before spaying (she was a wild little puppy).

| The only difference in my little girl was that she had a slight appetite increase and therefore put on a bit of weight, which was GREAT because she was underweight before the op and is perfect now Remember that its a serious operation and she is bound to feel a bit crappy for a while afterwards, but she will be back to normal in no time.

| The only thing I ever noticed was a gain in weight. It's okay as long as they don't chub out.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Hi - Izzy was spayed and it went well - we go to a very progressive vet who did lazer on her (less recovery time needed) and she came through with flying colors. My vet also kept her overnight which was nice. Picked her up mid-afternoon the next day and she was a little quiet and I watched her all day so she wouldn't jump around. Well the next day she was back to her old crazy self...I don't know....but she's still the same weight (didn't gain though I wish she would have since she is so tiny) and still a crazy woman. Your little girl will be fine - just watch her the first day when she gets home.
