Zeke: Modesto Animal Control Update Hi all - Zeke has not been found that I know of, but I did want to update those who were following this story that the head of animal control for Modesto called me this afternoon to advise me on what happened when they went to Grandma's house before Maureen and I went. Post to follow.

1. Head of animal control went to Grandma's house before any occupants were alerted that there was any suspicion about the house 2. Head of animal control observed a total of 4 adult dogs in the backyard. a. The first was a chiuaua mix b. The second and third looked the size and shape of yorkies, but were all red in color and appeared to be a mix breed c. The fourth was a poodle-type mix 3. The observable conditions were such that no citation was issued for inappropriate dog conditions. 4. No citation will be issued for having too many dogs as there is no way to tell if some of those dogs were being babysat by the owner. 5. Animal control advised that the owner of any missing chipped dog (chipped through Avid) should contact Avid, give them the police report number so that the chip will be flagged. This is important if the missing dog leaves the state. 6. The garaged animals appear to have been Tahoe, mamma dog, and the pups. Last edited by Galatea; 08-13-2007 at 03:23 PM.

Thanks!!!!!!! It's so nice to know that their were no yorkies in the yard, and they were not ZEKE Cosmo, or Bebe!!!! Appreciated the update. I guess we do not have to worry at all about the Grandmother now. I guess we can really close that door!
