| I have to leave Moose!!!! I'm getting so bummed. I have to go to a business meeting next week in Clearwater Beach, Fl and the hotel won't take dogs. So I have to leave my moosey at home with my mom and dad and Lil Bear. I'm not sure how moose is going to do, she has a hissy fit if I am in the bathroom and she's not. I take showers now with her standing in the bathing barking so I will stick my head out from behind the shower curtin. I know it doesn't sound like a good mommy but at least if I was leaving to go to Va Beach to see my boyfriend I would be busy and worried about her but not obbsessing like I'm going to be while I sit in BOREING MEETINGS!!!! Any suggestions as to what instruction I should leave for my parents beside the normal stuff? It's not like I haven't left Lil Bear when she was a puppy and it's not like my parents don't know how to care for a cute puppy but still it's nerve racking.

| An article of clothing with your scent on it may help. We usually leave a heating blanket, classical music playing, and the TV on at low volume when Yoda is home alone. He usually just sleeps. |

| When I take my dogs to my parents up north I have to ask them to not leave any pill bottles around or pills on the coffee table. Or for my Mom to leave her purse on the floor. I also have to check for mouse snap traps or those horrid sticky squares or poison mouse food. Grrrrrrrrr. Mya will find elastics, paper clips, nails....what ever is dropped. Since my parents are quiet old now I would not leave Mya with them......lol I know that sounds bad but heck they forget easily they are 75 and 76. I also have to remind them not to feed her people food and to look at the floor before they walk. Mya tends to blend in with the carpeting at thier place.

| Moose did ok last week while I was gone. I handled it ok, though eveytime I walk I thought moose would have liked this and lil bear would have had fun too. My parents did ok with moose, she wasn't a big pain and they were even able to sit in the dine with both lil bear and moose and there was no ear pulling. Just hope this will be one of the only trips moose won't be able to go with me on

| They shouldn't try to comfort him with treats. Let him mourn if he does so. He will be his merry little self when you come home
