| Maybe they haven't actually weighed the mom and dad and are just guessing? Or maybe flat out lying? I know my chi Harley's mom supposedly only weighed 3 lbs - but let me tell you, that was the biggest and heaviest 3 pounds I've ever seen! (DH and I guessed she was at least 6 lbs). Sometimes people alter the truth a bit to get people to at least see the babies and fall in love. I hope that poor mom is bigger than 2 lbs. It just breaks my heart.

How old is the puppy? And how much does it weigh at this point? I would be concerned about how young it is first and then look at what other health issues you could be getting into.

I just got my new baby about three days ago. They told me that she was a micro teacup and that she would never weigh over two pounds. She said that Razzle's brothers and sisters would only be a pound heavier than her. I had heard of micro teacups but had never actually seen one until I found Lil Razzle. This woman convinced me that she was the best one of the litter and that she would be a good show girl but the more I read on here the more I find out bad about these "micros" I'm at a loss and very concerned for my baby. I don't know what I should do. I want to keep her healthy and make sure that she weighs an appropriate amount. What do I need to do.

im not sure. all i did was call and ask the price and i know its a puppy. i didnt want to really know anything till i knew the price. sometimes breeders will tell you sooo much about the pup and the line(which is good) and then tell you the price and your like umm sorry i dont think i can get a pup from you lol. so i try not to waste their breaths if i know im wont be able to buy it.

its not bad to own one its just hard and because they can be very unhealthy. some breeders breed them way small just to make tons of money. Dont feel like you are put down on here because you own a very small yorkie lots of people on here do but you need to research and see what you can do if complications do come about. like NUTRICAL always have that!

Razzle is six weeks and 3 days and she weighs a little over half a pound. I've done alot of research and called several vets and I've gotten pretty much the same thing that they're just harder to maintain and that they are more suceptible to health problems like sugar fits. One vet told me about a food that I can put her on to ensure that she has a good digestive track and help her gain weight at a good steady pace. Like I said I'm just so concerned I've already gotten so attached to her and it would just absolutely break my heart if anything were to happen to her. She's just so sweet and full of life and she deserves a good healthy one and it just crawls all over me to know that the woman I got her from is doing what she is doing!! Is there anything that I can do about her?
