| *Sigh* Motherhood Wow I thought I was completely prepared to have a yorkie but boy was I wrong! I got my little Lillian from Jeanie (JeanieK) on the 6th and boy oh boy! LOL...Lilly is a feisty feisty girl. She has the whole household wrapped around her little paw! My parents have taken to calling her the baby and they just spoil her rotten! My experience with Jeanie has been a great one. When I went to get Miss Lilly I felt just awful. Because Lillian was obviously being well taken care of and had her parents (who were the cutest little dogs!!) and Jeanies two parti-colored yorkies (gorgeous) as her companions. I didn't want to just rip her away from them. I could tell that the first night was confusing for her...but let me tell you she has quickly become my little four legged shadow! LOL. Lilly has a big personality that eclipses her little body. She's already bossing around Everton my parents clumsy beagle and chasing Chyna our cat. She loves to wrestle with her toys and run around the room at top speed. Also if she isn't getting the attention she feels she needs she'll run over to me and try to jump in my lap (were she is now) and make sure I am looking at her. HAHAHAAH..such a diva and little performer. We all must watch her beat up her toys! She is also soooo clever..the first few nights I tried to put her in her kennel to sleep (which I put next to me on my huge bed so she could see me) and she would whine but eventually calm down to sleep. After a couple nights she realized that I wasn't reacting to her little whines...so last night she stuck her paw out of the kennel to touch my arm and just looked at me!!!! I just about died and let her out. She slept next to me the rest of the night! (I know bad me...but she was so darn cute) Sorry this is soo long..but I'm just so excited and over the moon in love with this one! She is the cutest little booger and sassy to boot! Pics and maybe video coming soon! Oh and I also had a question: She will pee on her pee pads no problem (we got a spray that attracts them to it) but then she will wonder of a little away from the pad and poop on the carpet..literally inches from the pad anyone's yorkie do this too? Any tips?

| Thats wonderful!!! Dakota sleeps in the bed with me. I am not too sure about the puppy pads, because I don't use those, but someone on here might be able to explain that. Can't WAIT for pics. |

| I can just feel the love and excitement in your post! It sure doesn't take long to get wrapped around their paw, does it? As far as the poo-poo...I think that's real common. Occasionally mine do the "poo-poo walk" if they have a dangler. They try to "walk" away from it and it finally comes off, not quite on the pad. Hehe...poop happens. Sounds like she's doing excellent for a puppy!!

| Congratulations! Gizmo does that also! I don't know what's up with it. I have started giving him yogurt drops when the poo is even PARTIALLY on the pad. LOL NO treat if it's off. I hope that's the right thing to do. He is getting almost all of the pee on the pad though. Well....sometimes he stands on the pad and pees on the carpet, but I know he's trying!

| Gypsy has the same problem with the poo off the pee pads. She goes on the pee pad 90% of the time for peeing but never the pooing. She loves the rug for that.
