| Finally back home with my babies! Its been a looooong 5 days! Great to be home with my babies! And they were SO glad to see me too!!!!!! I didn't think they'd ever calm down when I got there. They were so excited to go home, didn't think I'd ever get the harnesses on both of them. Really glad I didn't take only 1 of them on my trip this time, as it was my first flight out there. After hearing peoples babies cry, and my ears popping, on the flight, and I know you can't tell babies or furbabies how to clear their ears out. The lady I left them with was really good to both of them. And didn't charge me as much as what she'd originally said. That really helped, and knowing she was in their home, and not in a kennel helped too. Kinda wonder though if they ate anything but treats the whole 5 days. I saw a new package of treats in their bag unpacking. The one I sent with them last Friday, was almost brand new. I have a friend that also loves to give them treats, and does the same thing. I have to say "thats enough" with her. Venus wasn't as matted as I expected her to be. That eased my mind, as she matts so easily on a daily basis. Where I stayed they had a 130lb rockwiler, that is a big baby, but he plays rough. Last few trips, Adonis stayed on the back of the sofa, and when on the floor would go under furniture the rock could't get under to avoid him. And I don't want to keep him closed up in a guest room all the time. Was really, really hard leaving them. I don't have children, and these 2 are my babies. I usually drive, this time I flew. I hadn't flown in 16 years. |
