| Quick....I Need Help!! I am so stupid. I just took Chewy for a walk, it was hot and he was really panting. I was drinking a Vitamin water, and since I have read that some of you have given your little ones Gateraid, I gave him a little of my Vitamin water. Then I got looking at it, and it says it is Tropical citrus energy! It contains natural caffeine, the whole bottle contains 50mg. I let him drink about 2 capfuls. Is this bad? Should I do anything? I feel terrible.....please help!!!!

| Two capfulls isn't very much. I would think that Chewy will be ok. Watch him closely and try to get him to drink plain water. If he exhibits any unusual behavior, however, I would call the vet. It is always better to err on the side of caution. |

| Did the vitamin water have any artificial sweetners in it? That would be dangerous.

| I don't think you'll have a problem, but just keep an eye on him. If you feel uncomfortable just call your vet, and ease your mind.

| Haha! He's taking a nap right now so I guess it didn't affect him too much! Thanks for the responses everyone! I looked again at the bottle and no, it didn't have any artificial sweeteners, but thanks for bringing that up. Looks like he's fine, I just freaked out a little. From now on, just water!!!
