I PM'ed her and told her the circumstances.

She is a foster mother who just had 4 kids placed in her home, so for the pups safety, she has put the pup 1st and wants to re-home him to a new forever home.

Her and I have talked on the phone several times and she is a very nice lady and this is breaking her heart that she has to do this, but it's out of love that she is re-homing him.

She had many inquires about him and she picked me!!!!!! I feel so honored! I think she could really tell my love for Lillie & Baby and my love for yorkies!

Yes she did PM me and I went and looked. About 2 years ago Petfinder stopped allowing the classified ads so I was surprised when I read her note. When I went back and looked, Petfinder is once again allowing people to post their classified ads just like in a newspaper. These are not rescue's per se but people who need to find new homes for their dogs. I apologize if I confused people but I was concerned when I first read this and didn't want the OP to get hurt by a bad rescue. This is a whole different circumstance because she found her little one on a "classified ad" in petfinder.

Thanks Cindy for looking out for me! I really appreciate it! When I seen the ad, of course I was skeptical, that's why I called and not emailed her. I figured if she posted her phone #, she was legit, but I had to find out for myself.

I think if I pay with paypal, I'm covered. Does anyone know how that works?

it probably means that if you do not recieve your "item" that you can cancel the transaction and get your money back. i have used paypal many times and find it to be great!
if you pay with cash or check it is NOT secure and you don't have any way of retaliating (without spending more money) if you do not recieve the goods or services you paid for.
i do not know if you get the same assurances with animals, however.

you could go to the website and get more info there. you could maybe also contact them and see if they can answer better.

hey Missy, am just now reading this and want to congratulate you on your newest addition . . .

If you have your CC linked to your paypal, that I think would be better because if anything goes wrong, you can dispute the charges on the CC much easier I think.

Can't wait for Quinn to come home

Congratulations on your new addition. Of course, we will want to see pictures.

It looks like I am going to have to start working on hubby for a little girl. We travel a lot and it's pretty easy to take one but will be more difficult with 2. I know this will be the arguement he gives me.

I have not heard back from her today. I sent her a email asking if she got a hold of her sister to see if she could watch the kids and meet me 1/2 way. but I have not heard back
