I hate hearing stories like this. It really gets to me how someone can knowlingly sell a sick pup to another person, and then take no responsibility in the end. Some people just have no soul, compassion or heart. I know how you feel because this happened to me and my girlfriend about 2 years ago. Luckily, we were refunded our money, but this was after many threats of suing. We told the breeder that we would tell everyone we knew and publish everything we could about her horrible breeding habits. She finally refunded our money.
I play hardball, so I would call up that breeder and threaten him with everything you can....have a lawyer contact him, get in contact with the local paper and write a story about his evil ways, call him everyday and just make his life a living hell. People like that deserve it:mad:

Contact Channel 13 in Houston to find out more about this breeder & what you might could do to prevent this happening again. Personally, I would also contact the BBB and any law enforcement agencies in Houston or Harris County. Good luck and please let us know what happens.

I am SO sorry you and the pup had to go through this. Horrible. If you search Jeff Dane on this site - you'll see more than a few posts. Really concerning.

Contact the media, contact animal rights agencies, go to Villette's Puppy Mill website, find a pro-bono lawyer.

Post the FACTS wherever and whenever you can - just be careful bc he may be quite litigious...imagine that.

I doubt if Jeff Dane's dogs ever see a vet. I probably gives his own shots and is idea of euthanizing could be most anything.

Jeff dane does not care. he just won't answer your calls.

I'm so sorry :( Hey I have an idea! Can someone or several ppl that live in Texas visit him in person with a hidden camera attached to them and report him to the police? I have heard his place looks like a pig sty.

How terrible for you and the puppy. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you do decide to get a Yorkie again, but from a responsible breeder. Stay on YT. You'll find lots of support, good friends, and a great breeder here.

Hello everyone, this s Kellyn from Colorado again and I wanted to post an update about my forum from yesterday: STAY AWAY FROM YORKIEPUP.COM/JEFF DANE!
I have got an overwhelmingly great response from so many wonderful people, God bless you all:0) I have emailed Channel 13 in TX and am asking for them to do an investigative story on the alleged puppymill that Jeff Dane is running. I have made a formal complaint with the ACA and am asking for an investigation there as well. I hvae contacted the ASPCA of TX and am awaiting a response from them. I am going to as many news and media stations as possible and I am not stopping until I do my little angel Capone justice! Jeff Dane even had the nerve to have his wife call me today from a resticted number and tell me that the post I made on Yorkietalk.com (YES, THAT'S THIS SITE!) is slander and that I would be wise to retract my statement...needless to say, I'm not backing down to their threats and am well informed that my personal expierence of my story is indeed all factual and not illegal by any means. I will keep you all abreast on any further updates...once again, thank-you all so very much from the bottom of mine and Capone's heart.

Anywho, Kellyn, I fully support you and I hope you get some results. I would be more than willing to donate funds for a lawyer in pursuit of justice for you, this pup, and future pups - and I FULLY mean that.

He has done this before ... threaten to sue people who speak out against him. Your story is NOT slander because it's entirely true and you have PROOF to back it up. There is no law preventing you from telling of a real life situation that happened to you ... if there were, public chat forums would be illegal because that's ALL we do on them! I am so sorry that you lost your puppy after only a week and the breeder isnt doing anything about it. Is he giving you a reason why he feels he shouldnt replace the puppy or refund your money?

Jeff Dane strikes again.:mad: If you do a search here, you will find all kinds of threads from people who have had the same problems as you. Maybe those same people can tell you their experiences and what they did. With so many people buying sick pups from him, I would think there would be a way to put a stop to him.

I am so sorry for your loss- I can't imagine the pain you have had to go through. We are all cheering you on though and glad you aren't letting him bully you. He seems to excel at that. I guess everyone has to be good at something though and from everything I've read he sure doesn't excel in creating satisfied customers.:rolleyes: Too funny that he had his wife call you. People have done everything and nothing seems to stop him. There is one thing that will. There is a bill in Congress and if passed will outlaw selling dogs on the internet. This would be really bad for him because if they ever
come out to his place to buy a pup, they never would.
