I dread Tuesday, August 7th 2 Attachment(s) My sweet little Libby is getting spayed on Tuesday. I feel utterly sick with worry. She's also got to get lots of teeth pulled. I just feel so bad for her. Tuesday would also be my Mom's birthday. I miss her so much! I can't seem to sleep tonight...I'll be so glad when Tuesday is over. Please say a prayer for my Libby Rae of Sunshine. |

Aww, she is adorable!! I don't think we get to see enough pictures of her!! And she looks so cute wearing her little outfit!! I am sure she will do fine with surgery, she will be back to herself in no time. Prayers going out that surgery goes well and that she has a speedy recovery!! |

I know how you feel. I think sometimes when dogs have surgery its harder on he parents. Have the vets office call you when surgery is over so you can breath. Have faith and trust in your vet and make sure she gets a full blood test panel before sugery. You baby is so precious. Let us know how things go. Janie |

Connie, I know exactly what you mean! I was worried sick when Muffin and CoCo got spayed but they did great and so will Libby! Hang in there Mama! BTW - Libby is a living doll! And I LOVE THE OUTFIT!!;) |
Connie I will definatley be praying for Libby tomorrow. I know your Mom will be watching over her and keep her safe. Tomorrow will definately be a tough day for you and you will be in my prayers as always. |

Oh, I remember when Tink was spayed and had baby teeth pulled. I was pretty worried. But it was all good and now she's gone through other much worse things and she's still mine. Your baby will be just fine, but I'll send up some prayers anyway cause it never hurts to ask for some help! |

Thanks everyone, for your well wishes for Libby. I remember how shook I was when Maddie was spayed and thought this would be easier since I went through it with Maddie, but it's just that fear that overtakes me...and this has been such an awful year I keep thinking maybe I shouldn't even have it done in 2007. I just fed Libby a little so she doesn't have to go so long without food and water. She's not to have food or water after midnight. I'll take her in at 7:30 in the morn. I asked my vet if he will do her surgery first that day and he will. I didn't want her sitting there scared for so long, so this way she'll get it over with first thing. I'll get to pick her up around 4:00. While she's there, I'll go and buy flowers for Mom's grave. This is her first birthday we don't get to celebrate with her and it's so hard. Those of you who have had yorkies get baby teeth pulled...do they pull just the canines? Libby hasn't lost hardly any baby teeth yet...just a couple...and that would be a lot of little teeth to pull. Thanks again, everyone! You all mean so much to me! I'll let you know how it goes! |

Connie girl i know how hard tomorro is going to be, she will be ok and running around in no time. Never found any teeth of Apollo, just saw the empty spaces, had vet check them and all was good ! Rosi had to get 1 pulled at the time of her surgery. Like i told you just insist on painmeds to take home for peace of mind and pain ! And i know how painful it is with your Mom, just buy her some pretty flowers and spend a little xtra time with her, she will be smiling down on you , i am shure. Then go shopping to stay busy till you pick your sweetie up ! PM me if you are not doing what i told ya to talk. Hugs girl, and Rosi and Poli is sending kisses to all of you ! |

Me and Tiki send out our prayers to you this morning! She will do just fine, Tiki done great with hers I think I suffered more than her worrying she was just really sleepy when I got her home I just sat and held her all a day! Quote:
