Thanks, everyone! Libby is at the vet...I took her in at 7:30. Poor little sweetie was shaking so hard and so scared. The tech will call me when the surgery is over and Libby is awake. I get to pick her up at 3:00! About 6 1/2 hours to go. I felt so bad leaving her. My little sweetheart. I'll let you know when I get that phone call!

aww poor libby :( but it would over and done with in no time. then she will be home with mommy :D

I was getting so nervous because I hadn't heard from the vet's office and was about to call them when they called me. Libby came through the surgery and was just starting to wake up. She had three teeth pulled, and I expected it to be a lot more, so I hope other teeth don't grow in where they may have missed a baby tooth.

I am still worried, but feel better knowing she's done and waking up. My neighbors had their 2 scottie dogs neutered and they both came through the surgery and woke up, and then one of the dogs just dropped over dead. So, I need to quit thinking of things like that and think positive.

I'll let you know when I get my Libby girl home! I can't wait to kiss her and give her the TLC she deserves!

I'm soooo sorry you were worried. Its so normal to worry cause we love our babies so much. I'm so glad she is OK. I promise she will be fine after surgery. She'll just need some TLC from Mommy....And I know She'll get plenty of that.

Connie, I know how it is to worry. You can't help it. I'm glad she is coming out of it and she'll soon be home getting your tender loving care. She really is a little doll.:p

She will be fine, up and about in a day or two. My prayers are with you both.

My little sweet Libby is home! I feel so bad for her. She looks so ragged and smells kinda stinky. I bet she pooped in her cage. When they were going to bring her out, the lady said they were cleaning her up, and I suppose they didn't clean her up too well because little Libby has never smelled this bad. I'm going to take a washcloth with a tiny bit of shampoo on it and just give her a sponge type bath...but not until she's feeling better. She cries if I pick her up, so I'm just leaving her in her little bed. I couldn't get her to show any interest in water, but Patti called and suggested I try an ice cube and it worked! She started licking on it. I just gave her some tiny bits of lamb & rice roll and she ate it and wanted more, but I'll wait to see that she doesn't throw up and can give her more in an hour or two. I'm so glad it's over and I know tomorrow will be better. She almost acted mad at me, but I think it's just that she feels so tough. She has pain meds so that will help.

Thanks everyone...for being such a great support to me! I appreciate it more than words can say! Libby says to thank you all too.

Oh...one more thing...Maddie acts scared of Libby...she will only get so close and then back up and do her donkey kick. Weird little Maddie!

I bet Maddie can smell the dreaded "Vet" on her...lol....that's probably why she's running away from her.

She will probably be 100% better tomorrow! Teddi was horrible the first day -just crying and sad and laying there so I gave her a pain pill and she fell asleep. The next morning she was 100% back to normal. She never even noticed her stitches.

Rosi acted mad at me too when i picked her up, i think its the drugs ! They do look pitiful dont they ? I bet she will feel better tomorrow ! Just dont try to move her too much, she will do it on her own.I picked up the whole bed when i had to move her. When Rosi had her cyst removed Poli was real concerned sniffed her now and then , then pretty much left her alone. They seem to know ! Kisses for poor little Libby !
