| Juju's eyes went frim bright green to red!! I was SOOO excited when Juju's eyes shone bright green! I thought I finally had a silky coat. She is still young (19 weeks) but her eyes were truly green...not the bluish puppy color. Then, several days ago, I noticed she was suddenly getting mats! I had to give her a haircut. Okay, today after her bath, I took her picture...RED EYES!! I'm crushed!! Has this happened to anyone else? Look at the photos below to see the total about face. I guess poor Juju is destined to go thru life with a buzz cut.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOL Chanels eyes glowed red - she isn't going thru life with a buzzcut though she did have one thanks to a groomer who REALLY loved electric Trimmers - but at the age your baby is - the coat is hard to take care of - give her a few more months and I bet you see a difference and not as many matts and tangles |

| I don't know if that's true or not, but my Zada's eye glow green and she has a silky coat and Azrael's eyes glow pink, and she has the cotteny coat. That's strange! |

| Eyes I think that their eyes are like mood rings. My boy Choki when he is angry his eyes turn red, when happy they tur green and when he is being lazy yellow. It's like a reflection of his mood.

| Green eyes=silk Red eyes=cottony I have found this to be pretty fool proof. Also use baby powder on the puppy mats...will help brush them out. Smells nice too. |
