| Canidae Dog Food vs. Nutro... I recently switched my two yorkies to Canidae. I was happier w/ the ingredients of Canidae. I like how it has oils for their skin/coat. One of my yorkies had a very dry and wirey coat and was CONSTANTLY scratching! I thought that maybe it was the corn in the science diet dog food I had her on when she was a pup. So I switched her to nutro and she was still scratching. Her coat is sooo much better now! So Im pleased to say that I like Canidae and wanted to get the word out.... How many other breeders/owners use canidae? Are you all pleased with it too? Do you have your pups weaned to canidae? Just curious... Last edited by Sassysmama; 08-03-2007 at 10:05 PM. |

| Mine get Canidae and Artemis. They are doing great on it. I tried several kinds before finally finding this mixture, such as Eukaneuba (sp?) and Royal Canin. I was impressed by the quality of Canidae and luckily mine both actually liked it. |

| That's exactly what i feed Sadie - Canidae canned food and Artemis kibble - and she's doing great on them. Both are very high quality dog foods.

| I am about to try Canidae We got our pup, Violet - 2 1/2 weeks ago and the breeder was giving her Iams Smart Puppy. After reading the reviews, I see that there are much better foods out there, including Canidae. I read some threads on this board, and saw that you can have Canidae send you free samples. I filled out this form on Friday on their website, and got an email back within a couple of hours that my samples were on their way! How's that for service!!! Heres a link to the form I used: http://www.canidae.com/company/forms/email-general.html ~Cheryl |

| We've been using Nutro which has been much better for my Shi Tzu's skin (bad allergies to air I think). But he still has flaking and itching. So, thanks - I'm going to send in for some samples of Canidae!

| Canidae I switched Zoey and Boston to Candiae this summer and it seems to be fine for them. In fact I feel that Zoey eats more regularly now and her poop is regular too.

| Canidae Dog Food vs. Nutro Gracie has only eaten kibble and I give her Artemis--it's the tiniest kibble I've ever seen and she loves it. She's done well on it...it's a pretty highly rated food. |

| jlo&brit, go to www.canidae.com and click on store locator...Type in your zip code and it will tell you the closest stores to you that sell it. If they don't sell it in your area, you can always order it online from a place like www.petfooddirect.com

| I also have switched over to Candidae, and mine love it! And, ever since, Livvi, (my biewer who has white hair) has been on it, she hasn't had any more tear stains. When she was on Nutro, it was sooo bad. So there are many benefits to switching over to a great quality food, rather than feeding our babies crap......YAY Candidae!!!!!!
