I think he's adorable. I, too have a large yorkie. The other night he flopped down on my head when I was sleeping and when I woke, I thought my husband had tried to smother me. LOL! My point being, He, as the bigger yorkie in my house, is a character. Lovable and funny. But my 5 lb, yorkie is too. Yorkease |
The breed standard dictates that a Yorkshire Terrier must weigh no more than seven pounds, but who cares he looks adorable. :) |
He's so cute!!! Lots of people here have bigger yorkies. Mine is small, but that's not why I got him. I think when they're bigger, you probably worry about them alot less. |

My Wesley is 11 pounds. I am always asked if he is a purebed yorkie. He is purebed, he's just a bigger one. His dad was only 3.5 pounds and his mom was within the standard. He just turned out to be big. |

My little one is 6lbs but even if she was 15 lbs it would not change how much I loved her. Nomiland stated if I she came back as a Yorkie she would be a teapot. Chester is 9.2 lbs and I didnt think he would get to 6 lbs, bit I would rahter have aa bigger sturdier yorkie, your guy is cute and looks all yorkie to me, he looks long kind of like chester. |

Snooki looks like a Yorkie to me! He might be big but it can happen. Some puppies can grow alot and be big but they are just as much Yorkies as the smaller siblings. My sister has a Yorkie that is probably around 10-12lbs, not less and his sister is TINY, she is about 2-4lbs. I know the breeder and know that there was no mixing, puppies from partents that have pedigrees that we know are right. Sometimes the puppies are just diffirent in size. Hopefully I can take a picture of these two siblings sometime to show you the diffirence ;) |
He has the typical Yorkie face! Very cute. I guess some Yorkies keep growing. So what? Pepper is small, under 7 lbs, but if he ended 8 or 9 or 10 lbs, he already stole my heart. Sometimes I do wish he was a little bigger, though, I love walking and he's pooped after 45 minutes... |
Bob is 18 lbs..Even the vet wouldnt admit he was a Yorkie..After coming here, I know that he is.. Ive been tempted to do that new dna testing on him, but regardless.. Hes just a big boy...and I wouldnt take a billion dollars for him..:animal36 |

I've got an 11 lb girl. Yours is absolutely cute. There are lots of bigger yorkies around everywhere. I know someone who has one bigger than any of these!:D |
