Uncle Charlie - Under the weather
 

Dearest Tink. Uncle Charlie has a tummy problem today, (too much information is unsuitable for your young self). My Momma came home to several surprises, and she had to scrub the carpet, give me a bath and now I have to spend the night in the laundry room with two gates so I can't jump out (I already escaped over the top of one gate, and broke out of my harness). I have been crying for her because this is the first time we have slept apart. She gave me some pink stuff and I hope I feel better tomorrow morning so I can eat breakfast. The pink stuff was icky and I spit it on the wall.

I am so glad that you had a wonderful party, and my Momma showed me all of the pictures. You were so pretty in your special dress and was your name embroider? (I can't spell that big word, Tink).

Now, I have to apologize to you, Winston, and Bernie for feeling jealous. Uncle Charlie shouldn't feel that way, but I think of Bernie and Winston, young pups, frisky and then I feel a bit old. But let me tell you, I played last night with two Yorkies and a big Lab, we ran and ran after a ball. It was so much fun, but had to quit because it was 80 degrees. So, I can run fast, will play nice with you and really want you, Winston and Bernie to be my special friends. I will try very hard to not be jealous, Tink.

The flowers from Bernie and picture of the dog singing are really cute. His Momma is very creative, isn't she?

Well, it is after 10:00 and I need to go to sleep now. Guess I will just lay down in my bed, missing Momma but she said either I sleep in the laundry room or a crate. I don't like crates. She thought I might jump off the bed in the night time and leave more surprises.

Hew's a secwet (I weave pwesents sometimes too.):eek: I always go by da pad, but sometimes I forget to stay in one pwace and I get da poops on da cawpet. Mommy calls me a "walker" cause I walk when I poop. I can't hep it cause my big brover Indy was a walker and he taughted me.

I twy to poop outside but sometimes bery early in da morning, I have to use da pad.

Did yur mommy forgib yu yet? My mommy always says "Oh Tink, look what you did!" Den she picks up da poop wif paper and puts it in dis white ting wif water in it. And it goes woosh! Den I gotta go owtside and make more poop. I hope yur mommy wubs yu again.

Hey all I'm doing okay, just too much to do and so little time to do it...but I have survived worse things then this. Deborah/Sophierose has some great ideas to lift my spirits..Thanks Tink and Susie for the rose, my favorite I'll cherish it always. And the clown did make me laugh...

Tink, Uncle Charlie usually does not leave a present on the carpet for Momma. Momma thinks she was too generous with the cod liver oil, and caused digestive upset. She didn't use the measuring spoon. I tried to get out, but couldn't so Momma wasn't mad. I did not like staying in the laundry room, but at least Momma knows that I can't escape over two gates. I felt like I was in doggy prision though. I don't know nuttin' about potty pads but she laid them out on the laundry room floor. I was raised to go out a doggy door, but we don't have one of those things. My sister Sophie knew all about potty pads, but she was girl.

Momma really had to scrub many areas on our carpet, and is going to clean the area again today. We can't help it when we have accidents. That is a funny story about "walking poopers", Tink.

Oh, it is so good to hear from Winston and Tink. However, Momma is concerned that your Momma is not feeling well, Tink. Did she go into the hospital?

Winston, I know what you mean about having your Mommy all to yourself. My favorite time is the weekends when Momma is home with me. Lots of extra cuddle time and longer walks.

My sister Alicia is coming in a few weeks to visit from California. She is not furry, but a pretty girl with blond hair. Momma calls her the baby, but I am really the baby now. She liked me when we visited her during the 4th of July except I chased her two cats out the door. :rolleyes: There is a big dog named Lucy and I hope we play when it is time for our Christmas visit. :animal36

Momma and I send big hugs to everyone, and we haven't seen Judy online for awhile. Momma said she will send her an email to make sure everything is okay.

Hello from Illinois...Good Sunday Morning!!! Hope you are all having an enjoyable weekend. It's beautiful weather here, sunny and warm...but not too hot.
Winston has a belly ache the last few days, so he's resting...This is something he NEVER has, so I'm blaming it on the new cookies I got him, they are now gone...into the trash. He puked twice last night and once this morning...and every time he goes outside he wants to eat grass. Plus he did not eat his puppy food today, which he always gobbles right down. I will have to watch him carefully today for low blood sugar/seizure...it's been 3 months without an episode, I hope this doesn't bring one on again.

Winston: Charlie had an upset tummy with loose poopies a few weeks ago. I gave him Pepto, he hated it but settled his stomach. I do hope Winston is okay and eating the grass is something I never understood until recently. Poor little Sophie would always try to eat grass and I wouldn't let her for fear of contaminants on the lawn. However, our backyard does not have any applications of fertilizer, etc., so I let Charlie graze. Obviously, natures way to settle their tummy ache.
