The Crate
 

Hi, Winston. Momma doesn't leave me in a crate at home, only when I go in the car with her, and she goes into the store. Then, she puts my in a crate that sits in the backseat so no one will try to take me.

I hope Tink's Momma is feeling better; Momma just took me for another walk so I am resting again in my blue bed.

Tinker, are you alright? Is your Momma feeling well? Has Winston been to your house? Bernie? Bernie seems to be very determined to escape and give you kisses. I was going to send you a picture, sweet Tink, but the groomer cut me very short, and Momma is not pleased. :( So I went from a wooly mammoth to a gent with a crew cut. Momma said "Charlie, I can see your bootiful eyes now, but your hair is too short". Of course, I thought she didn't like me anymore just because of my new haircut. So, I looked at her, whined a little bit, licked her hand...then, she picked me up and said "I am sorry, Charlie, I love you but miss your furry coat so I can nuzzle your fur".

The next time Momma takes me to the groomer, it will be up to me to describe my haircut. Momma just said "like before". Well, guess what? No haircut for two months and then just a trim because the weather is changing.

Hey, Winston. Do you have a full coat? I know Bernie and Ginger have pretty coats; Tinker has a beautiful black, shiny coat and wears girlie dresses.

Charlie don't worry about the too short hair cut. I bet you are still the most handsome man doggie around. Winston does has a full coat...not the most beautiful coat...but a lot of it. I think he is cotton coated, and it makes his little butt look huge, his front half is pretty and silkier...but the further back towards his butt the fluffier it gets...there is no taming it at all. Tink, I hope you don't mind a boy with a big butt...it really is all hair.
Last I heard Tink was off her seizure medications and doing well...I hope that is still the case. Stay well little girl...Winston sends his love!!! Peoria? Bully sticks? Hmmmmmm!!!

the Yorkie Meetup? Momma says I have lots of Alaska miles and it would be so much fun to meet everyone. I also have a special friend, Aspen, in Minnesota that I could make a stopover and visit.

I love traveling especially the car, but the airplane is much faster.

Momma needs to buy a few pairs of pajamas for me also. I am thinking of a pattern with fire engines or race cars. Do you know if Ginger and Bernie have jammies? Does Winston wear jammies, too?

I sure hope we can all meet next year. Thank you for not looking at Jack or Eddie. They are very handsome boys but those Alaska dogs are rather "rough and ready" pups. You might think they are special, and then not want Uncle Charlie to share your crate with the other boys.
