Okay, my sweet little Easter bunny. Momma said I could stay up a few minutes longer and write you a special note. Do you know that there is a new girl staying at our house? Her name is Rachael, she is 3 and not a Yorkie. Momma says she is pretty but I think she smells different than me. She is a foster, had bladder stone surgery on February 29 and would like to play with me.

She likes to sit close to my MOMMA and that makes me jealous. So, I sit on the other side and Momma has to pat each of us at the same time.

Do you think you would like to have a boy live with you, Tink? You could come over Tink and play at my house. Wouldn't it be fun to have Winston, Bernie, Ginger and Moose chase the ball?

Guess what? My birthday is going to be on April 14 and Momma bought me something very special. I will send you a picture when I have my party. It is the day that I came to live with Momma forever.

Charlie: Of course I saw your beautiful Valentine's dress, Tink. You are so pretty.

Rachael lived with elderly people who couldn't afford to pay for her surgery, so she was taken by a rescue called PeopleUnitedforPets in Seattle. After her surgery, the rescue group was willing to pay for the surgery, and return her to them. However, they couldn't even afford the specialized food and follow-up care. She has been loved and treated well. They must miss her.

Charlie: I let her play with all of my toys, and she loves to chase the tennis ball. There is a yellow bear that she carries in her mouth; Momma thinks Rachael believes it is her baby.

Deborah: I had an application in for a senior girl because I thought Charlie needed a sister. Offered to foster and Rachael came to stay with us 12 days ago. However, Charlie is too old and his life has been rough; realized he needs my attention 100%. So when Rachael eventually goes to her new home, I probably won't foster again or entertain the thought of a sister for Charlie. However, will help the rescue group in other ways because they specialize in small animals.

Oh, Deborah aren't you sweet to do that for little Rachael. I've thot of helping a rescue too. Still thinking. Maybe after my next surgery. Charlie Barley is lucky to have such a caring mama.

Tink is at home - cause I'm getting ready to leave the office, but she would tell Uncle Charlie "Tink wubs yu!" if she could.

May 6! I'm kind of excited but nervous too. It will be so wonderful to not have the knee pain after it heals. Then we can start on my other ankle! One day I may actually be able to walk Tink without tying her to my walker!;)

Well, Rachael went to live with another foster family that has another foster Peke, and two other small boy dogs today. She will be the only girl with boys! She became confused about the potty and had big accidents in our house. Momma was worried that I would start to cover up her scent, so we moved her today. Momma was very sad and cried; I was a bad boy because when we got home from saying goodbye to Rachael, she found that I had marked on her (our) new sofa and wasn't too happy. I was just trying to tell Rachael the sofa belonged to me.

You know, I just don't want to share Momma because I waited a long time for a forever home. Momma says Rachael will have more fun with the younger kids although I did kiss her last night and we played a little bit.

I hope everybody has a Happy Easter and our friend Bernie gets well very soon.

Dis is Ginger. Bernie asked me to rite, and you no, I wub to!!! Chawie, Winston and Tink, 1 time when I was widdle, I peed on mommy when mommy was sitting on her bed. I twied to tell her. My, oh my! You young girls are so advanced in your conversational skills for being so young. Sometimes when you are an older gentleman, you understand too much:D.

Momma talked with the lady who has Rachael, and Rachael is already the "Queen Bee" at their house. Momma said we helped get Rachael through her bladder stone surgery and recuperation. Well, okay but even though Momma misses her, I enjoyed my walks today and lead the way once again. Sometimes I smell around the yard and on our walks; remember when Rachael walked with us.

We are going to help with the rescue group http://www.peopleunitedforpets.com/ because Momma says "Charlie, you were saved by someone who cared". Well, okay we can help but I don't have to share my bed otherwise I may tinkle on Momma's sofa again. :eek:
