| Finally getting a puppy. :) Long time no post! I just thought I'd pop in to say that I've been in contact with a really nice local breeder (not a byb!) who I plan on getting a pup from within the next few months - the puppy will be ready sometime in November or December, depending on the birth date. I'm really excited! I also saw some yorkie pups at a petstore the other day, and felt pretty sad for them. Ugh... no responsible breeder would do that to their pups. :P I'd much rather wait a few months for a well bred pup whose parents I could actually see, who have a history, and guarantee. |

| Congratulations! Now for the wait! What a great Christmas present that will be! I got my Layla 2 weeks before Christmas of '05, and I was like "Who cares about Christmas and presents? I have a puppy!"

I haven't decided if I want a male or female yet... I need to read up on them and see if it makes a difference. I wouldn't mind either or, really. Ironically, the pups are due on Sept 7. You'll get yours as mine is born! | |
