| Leaving for Tx Friday, boarding dogs Yesterday, I almost canceled my trip. Nerves just rattled. I will be gone from Friday morning till Wed evening. Flying this time, insead of driving. First flight I had since 1991. I made the flight arrangements when carpal tunnel flared up this spring. I know they will be fine with the lady I'm leaving them with, but dunno if I'll be fine without them! Never left them with anyone before. One is 6 years old and the other turned 1 in June. She's a trustworthy person, and I've known her on and off since 1992. They will be in her home, and not locked up in a kennel. And I know she will take good care of both of them. It will be my Mothers 94th birthday, so not like I need to cancel this trip at all! But sure enough, yesterday, I came up with 100 reasons not to go! Also, haven't flown since 1991, and trying to learn all the new rules. I don't have a problem with the rules, but want to know them before I get to the airport. Friend been helping me with that part, thank God. Breaks my heart to leave them period. Adonis used to make that trip with me by car. Now Venus hasn't had a trip since I the day I got her. Right now, I'll just be glad when the whole trip is over with, and my babies and I are back home together. Yea, I know this probably isn't "normal" but I never said I was normal to start with! |

| Your perfectly normal. I'm lucky because if I have to go away my family comes here to watch them, so there's no change in their schedule. It'll all be over soon, and you'll get lots of puppy kisses.
