Yes I can't go pee without an audience. I have hubby and he carries my son in, Tilly, and JJ. If I shut the door Tilly will wait outside but JJ will scratch till I open it. Usually they lay on the bathroom rug and just stare.

wow..and i thought mine was the only one that did that!!! lol Well we have gotten to the point where he will now sit outside the door and wait patiently for me to come out!!! A mommy has to have a moment sometime!!!! Now when i take a shower he will wait outside the shower door til i come out and then go sit by the door...Guess he wants to make sure i come out okay!!!

I am sorry that is not cute IMO, nor is it sanitary(fact). so many germs fester in bathrooms i don't think its the place to let a dog have his way.

Ryoko follows me as well but I command him to sit and stay right outside the door. This way no germs are on him, Did you know that when you flush there is a microscopic spray that comes from the toilet spreading urine and fecal matter?

I rather my boy be health, than get his way.

Jake always follows me to the bathroom. Sometimes he comes in, and sometimes he waits outside the door. Lately, he has been trying to jump up in my lap. It's like I'm interrupting his lap time or something. How DARE we go to the bathroom! lol

I understand what your saying and I know I need to discourage her from doing this. I also put the lid down before I flush though, it's my strange compulsion!

I dont know if anyone has seen the Movie Cooly High, but I am always saying Oooo Ryo get outta hea! Get outta hea, U nasty! when he comes in and i don't notice lol just like that girl in that movie. I am so quick to tell Ryo his place is outside the door not in.

I never did until saw that program on TV say that there is a certain amount of splatter that comes out when you flush. I dont want my baby coming and snoopin in the bathroom after my son leaves the toilet seat up after he flushes.

Loki is trained to stay out of the bathroom. Sammy likes to come in and sniff the floor and steal kleenex out of the trash. I kick her out too and leave the door closed. It's like starting all over... Sometimes I crack the door when I shower and they will come get me if they need me, but they do not need to be in there otherwise! Sammy will try to paw at the door to get in, so I have to make sure it's shut tight! Whatever she needs can wait 30 seconds!

I can't stand toilet lids up, it's my pet hate! I saw on Mythbusters the other day that feacal matter can get on a toothbrush just by it being in the same room! GROSS!

i have to watch my toilets flush. i don't even like to leave before i hear the suction noise...

our system is sort of old and has overflowed before.
but that's a pretty good idea!!
