Hello everyone. I have some bad news. :( I haven't been online in a while, as I have been super busy! I am going through a divorce (my choice) and now faceing the posability of letting the love of my life (Bruizer) go to a new home. I just dont think I can face that! It turns out my Husband whom I thought was paying bills, wasn't and now that I booted him out I am finding out how much we owe and it all being in my name I have to take care of it, plus I have been working 60 hours a week so I really don't think that is fair to Bruizer. This is going to be a sad time for me but if any of you know of someone who might give him a better home than I am please let me know. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have! Thanks and I know you will be here for me though this as you have for everything else I have encountered! Thanks you all I just love YT! And I will get another Yorkie when the time is right! |
Oh no!! I am so sorry this is happening to you!! I know how much you love Bruizer and how much you would miss him. I hope things work out someway and that you are able to keep him or give him to someone to watch on a temporary basis. I am so sorry. May God give you strength and help you get through this. |

Hello Bruizer's Mommy: you might not have to part with your beloved pet, maybe someone could temporarily adopt him until you get on your feet. It would only cost a few pennies a week to take care of him, I understand the emotional support that would be needed also, but there are some great people on this site. I'm sorry you might have to be separated from little Bruizer, but, with all the members here that are in your area, there must be someone that could let Bruizer just come for a visit while you get you life back in order. I wish I were closer, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I got Remi to keep Roxy company because I have 2 jobs. Somehow, a solution will found. |
Oh my gosh I am so sad to hear this :( First of all I am sorry to hear that you are going through a divorce (that has got to be hard enough on it's on) but to hear that you may have to re-home Bruizer :( I really do hope that you can maybe find a way to keep him....but if not I truly do hope that things work out for the best and that he finds a wonderful home with someone who will love him just as much as you do. Hopefully you can find a temporary solution and you dont have to rehome him..I know things can seem overwhelming at first...I have been there!! It IS overwhelming...but take some time to really think this through and if you have then you know that YT is the best place for him to find a new home and I wish you luck finding him the perfect family....we are here for you!! First of all I want to thank you all soooooo much for all the strength and prayers. I wouldn't have to rehome Bruizer on my part of the money side but you see my (soon to be ex) Husband left about $1400 in unpaid back owed bills. and now I am gettig shut of notices. I don't like the thought of it but I would have to rehome Bruizer to take care of them unpaid bill so my two children and I are not left in the dark or without heat (or hot water).I just went back to work after being a stay at home mom for the past 3 years so I dont have 1400 laying around. I would really like to keep Bruizer some where closer to Michigan but I want him to have the best home possable. Thank you all so much. |
Please don't rehome your baby. He will be a souce of comfort for you and your children. ;) Talk to the utility people and hopefully they will work with you. :) Get out your pen and write some letters. Does your state have any emergency assistance> I guarentee that Bruizer is happiest with you and your children. It will get better. I'm so sorry to hear you're going through all this. :( I'm hopeful someone in your area or even a friend could take Bruizer in until you have the security to take him back. It would be so sad if he was rehomed and you never saw him again. He knows you and loves you as his mommy, his only mommy! Don't break his heart. :cry: |
Where in Michigan are you? My sister is always looking for a new baby...How old is he?? SHe has Ada and wants a playmate but was waiting for the right rescue to come along. I am sure she would also consider a rehoming baby also. Please PM with details and maybe we can help you. I am sooooo sorry to hear what the X has done to you. SO unfair! |
Sorry your having to go thru this but maybe someone close to you who is a YT can foster him for you for a little while til you get back on your feet!! I would hate for you to give him up completely and then see in a few months you could have kept him!! I know we have some great folks out there that can help you out so you don't have to rehome him!!! Come on YT!! lets help her out!! If I were close I would do it in a heartbeat!!! I'm sorry to hear about your soon to be x leaving you with so many bills (I've been there) and that you are having to consider rehoming your baby. I pray that everything will work out so that bruizer can stay with you. |

Sorry you're going through this. I'd really try to find someone who'd care for him until your on your feet again. Get yourself a good attorney, and he may be paying for more then you think. |
If you haven't been working, you might be eligible for some services for utilities, food, etc. If you have, work out a deal with the utilities to pay your bills off. Make sure you file for child support immediately and have it come out of his paycheck. Keep that puppy; he is going to represent all your love and strength. |
Hello Everyone: Is there no way that a yorkie fund could be started for bruizersmummy. I would be more than willing to send 10 dollars, Please everyone step up to the plate and lets try to keep this family together. I am not saying pay of the entire bill, but if we could raise $150-200 dollars surely this could help bruizersmummy. LETS GO, ANYONE ELSE WILLING TO HELP OUT, ANYONE. You guys I really appreciate all of this and I know keeping Bruizer would be the best for me. He gives me such a great deal of happieness in my life. Along with my Two Children. Someone had said to get a good attorney, while I would love to do that but that cost $ too. So I am waiting for him to file! I am keeping Bruizer with me till I can figure out what is going on with the utility companys. I cant stop you all if you want to donate and when I get back on my feet I will repay you. Call the utilities and talk to them...I've been there (broke) and it's amazing what can be done. But you have to be proactive...they need to hear from you. Good luck and I hope you get to keep your Bruizer. I'm afraid in a few months time you would regret your decision...plus the few $ a week he costs isn't going to equal $1400 any time soon. |
I am so sorry for everything you are going through, and even more sorry you have to consider giving up Bruizer, I know how hard of a decision that has to be. What part of Michigan do you live in??? |
