Hi...I'm 46 and soon to get my first Yorkie this weekend.

She will be 10 wks. old...and I hope will grow hair long like Chanel and Cheri!! LOL

They are such pretty Yorkies.

I just love Yorkie Talk...found it at a perfect time for me~

Everyone is so kind..not to mention learning about foods...finding great products and cute clothing from our Yorkie Talk members....

I feel pretty darn lucky about now- Melissa (Sophie arrives in 2 days)

I am 18 and have had Cosmo for 1 month and 1/2. But when we I was 14 my mom got a yorkie that we both took care of.

I have always adopted pets but this is my 1st time puchasing and owning a Yorkie named Gizmo, I had him for 6 months now.

I went to the Poll ...I hadn't seen that earlier...and see that the average age is 20 something...but all the early morning posters are in my age bracket ...with a few younger people - this is interesting ....but it's fun reading how long everyone's had a yorkie too !

) and I have had Lucy for 3 years. Ask we this question in 30 years and I know Ill still have Yorkies! (Best breed ever!

Yup...I am getting a little girl 8 weeks old. I will post pics asap. But, I plan on posting the 1 minute they meet for you guys to see the reactions in a short video.
Gizmo is a good boy and loves other animals so it should go well.

I'm 41 and have had Asia since march. She was a b-day present from my step-father who has had 2 yorkies in his life. I don't have a computer at home so I'm on YT while at work. thank goodness my bosses cut out early.

YorkieRoss how you feel 59 if you have a yorkie? They keep you young!!!!

LOL how true!
I feel my age because I can not have one Yorkie..I have had as many as 27 at one time!!!! Just had a litter, I should feel much older by now!
I hope Whispersmom posts..I know she is a week older then me..but looks younger.

Okay, you young whippersnappers! I'M THE OLDEST ONE HERE!!! At least I excel at something today!

I'm 66 and have had many dogs in my life, but only one Yorkie -- Higgins -- who came to live and travel with us at 7 weeks old in February 2004. He is the primary joy and laughter in our lives.

Higgins dad (also known here as Don The Dog Hater) just brought home a neat sign the other day and it hangs on our front door. It says: "A Spoiled Rotten Yorkie Lives Here" Ain't that the truth!
