| YT 2000 Club Member | Hi, Your mom's dog's are cute! We don't have our puppy yet but hopefully I will be bringing him home in December! I have been working with a breeder for a while to get my boy! Will you be getting a boy or girl? Have you found a breeder yet? About the books, may I suggest that you visit your library and order a few at a time? That way if you like a book you could buy it from a bookstore, they will order a book if they do not carry it. That is what I have done. Their are a lot of different Yorkie books out their and some have way more information in them. My mother on the other hand just buy's all books that have information on Yorkies in it so I also have burrowed hers to read while I wait to get my puppy! Good luck while you are waiting! |

That's a good idea.. I will check out a few libraries in my area! I want to get a girl and no i have not found a breeder so far. I'm looking at http://www.littleyorkiesontheprairie.com/home.html but am not sure yet. I want to find someone in texas really, but will keep my options open. Hopefully i will find a breeder by September so i can have weekly updates until it's time to pick up my little girl. I perfer an older/teen yorkie but am open to all ages. Will yours be a pup? | |

| Welcome to YT. Your mom's little ones are adorable. I think you'll love this forum and hopefully will learn a lot about yorkies. I think this is a very pleasant way to get information about the little furry ones. I can't give you much advice on books on yorkies in the States because I live in Spain but I have a few books myself and I don't believe it's necessary to buy lots of them because at the end of the day they are all a bit repetitive. Look around to see is there's a kind of journal or monthly magazine on Yorkies. These are normally written by a bunch of people and maybe one can get a broader view.As somebody else said, stick around. I'm sure you'll learn a lot. The breeding section is one my favorite. It's quite useful. Rubi |
