My daughter would say it was a spirit but in my opinion maybe it is your guardian angel. My granddaughter, when she was like 2, would see angels all the time. She was serious and would try to show them to us but of course we couldn't see them. I have always heard that children and animals are really sensitive to that. |
Okay, since you guys started it, I have to say that I NEVER liked hallways (especially the looong ones:eek:)... but latelly Maggie and Hannah are constantly checking out our hallway, looking at some invisible thing up on the wall...  Then, there was one night (which btw not long time ago), around 2:00am, Maggie jumped up on her feet and started barking and growling non stop staring to the hallway... when I finally managed her to quit barking (we live in an apartment), Hannah when to the edge of the bed and stared at the hallway... Well, I was freaking out badly that night... even hubby got the creeps!!! NO ONE slept that night!!! |

That's creepy! I HATE long hallways too! I have a hallway in my apt. but it's small. They suck especially at night when you can't see what's on the other side:eek: |
This reminded me of something my Stafford did a few years ago..and he hasn't done it since...I was sat on the sofa reading and he was sat at my feet when i notice that he is staring transfixed at a point in the corner of the room above the TV..he was sat like that for a couple of minutes and would NOT look away..it was so creepy..i have no idea what he was looking at as he was looking at bare wall..there was no bugs or anything. This was when we lived up in Scotland and my neighbour had recently lost his mother and was always saying that weird stuff was going on..not sure if there was a connection or not but it makes you wonder! |

That's so freaky.... Once in a great while Snoot will do the same thing and then the girls go right along with him. It seems to always be the hallway. They all stand at the one end of the hallway and go off barking and crying. One night they freaked me out so bad that I grabbed all of them and hid under the covers in my bed until Mikey got home. :p |
Sometimes I see Daisy staring in the air at nothing too. She doesn't bark, she just stares. It gives me the creeps. There is nothing there. |
this same thing happend to my coco but at 3 in da morning every day she would get up bark at this one spot then run for her life and hide behind me shaking, i got scared too by the way she was acting talked to my mom bout it and she just said that some dogs sense things that we dont so we had a lady from the church come and pray in our house for us and ever since then coco has been fine... except when we go to downtown Los Angeles at night she freaks out i think its a bunch of negative energy or something. |

The only one that does this is my Duncan, but he will do it when we a driving somewhere. I use to think "oh, it's a car or that person standing there" but alot of times there is no one or cars and he goes off that scares the heck out me and sleeping beauty Buffy. I have always been afraid of the dark so I sleep with a night light in the restroom which gives light in the hallway, and lucky for me the house I bought also has a restroom in the master bedroom w/a night lite. Two weeks after we moved in we had the house blessed by a prist and we keep holly water in the house as back up in case it is ever needed. :) |
