				   | I would hesitate to go with any insurance that is only for one vet chain because what if 3 months after you buy a years worth of insurance you don't like the vets there anymore? I see how it is a good deal especially for puppies but I would prefer something like VPI where you can go anywhere.

				   | i LOVE banfield they saved my puppies life! The best thing i ever did. they know TJ by name when we go in and they take VERY good care of him. and i f i am ever worried about anything i can just go to the vet and not worry about having to pay out the booty for just a visit. good luck with you decision.

That was a consideration I had also. There are several Banfields near to where we live, so I think if I didn't like any of the 4 veterinarians at the one in my town, I could easily drive to another Banfield and try theirs. Now, not liking their costs or policies is another matter though!! thanks for all of your comments you guys -- I really appreciate it, and feel like which every way I go, I will have made an informed decision! | I was looking into it and gonna get the plan because it seems like a great deal but When i saw in another thread a few people mention the fees i said no way! I have bad luck and would pick up every single fee they could think of if something happened. and instead of a 10 percent off they would somehow add 10% on because I Princess of the world and they somehow found out my secret. .. I will wait til i go and speak to them myself, But it seems that maybe one of the akc plans will work better for me, maybe. |

				   | We use the Banfield Wellness Plan too and we love it so far! From what I noticed they actually give more vaccinations than most other places. Everytime we go the vet will clip Izzy's nails and one time she pulled out the hair in her ears for us. It was great! Izzy is going to be spayed in a couple weeks and all of that is covered as well, so we are happy. The only thing is we did have to pay for heartworm medicine which was $30ish dollars but it is for a years worth so I think thats still a good deal. You also have to pay for flea/tick medicine.
