| Do they get moody like us?? Coco has been acting really weird lately. The last couple of days, she's not gobbling her breakfast or dinner like she normally does. She just sits there and stares at it and shakes. So sad. So today I held her, and rocked her and kissed her. I think she felt better because when I put her down she ate all her breakfast Then I took them potty and there was a bit of dark redness around her poo. So I think she's been having tummy issues. She's been mellow too, still plays and is active but not quite AS hyper as usual. Should I be worried or is she just in a funky mood? She was playing with Rocco this morning and everything, I just don't know if she's been tired from being out in the sun too much or something like that. Can they have good and bad mood days like us?

| I think they can have mood swings, but the redness on her feces is something to be worried about. Samuel Glenn had that happen once and it was collitis, he was on some metrinizol (I cant spell) and prednisone and was given some fluids. They get collitis usually from eating something that upsets their stomach but the redness around her poo can be a sign of dehydration.

| My vet told me that blood or redness in a dog's stool is not something to be worried about bc blood in their stool is not like blood in our stool. Whenever one of my dogs gets blood in their stool, my vet recommends feeding them chicken and rice for a day or two until it clears and then gradually mix in their food over a day or so. I think Coco is fine. Her tummy is probably just hurting her. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Maybe she is pmsing. Why not...we all get a bit bloated, irritated and our stools change before... Hopefully she feels better soon. Is it almost time for her heat cycle.

| Have you been feeding him carrots at all????? It's probably nothing, but I would just call your vet and see what they say just to be sure. |

| She's such a pretty little princess! Sometimes Hootie will act scared and frail and I'll pick her up to love on her and then she's fine! It's funny how they demand attention! hehehe Hope Coco starts feeling well soon if she is feeling yucky! |
