I just had Lulu spayed last month. She only weighs 2.5 lbs at 8 1/2 months and she came through with flying colors. I say go for it. It needs to be done. What were the circumstances sorrounding the passing of your other pup?

| I am sorry you lost your last yorkie. The chances are slim that can happen but kt is still a chance we all take. Many yorkies are spayed without complications all the time and it reduces their risk of getting cancer. I would do it. Keep us posted how it goes

| We are back at our old vet...My other yorkie Peanut and my German Shep. Spike were neutered there..so i trust them...The reason why we switched in the 1st place was because we wanted a vet closer to home...BIG MISTAKE...i should of done research..im still kicking myself!!! |

| Are you going to be going to the same vet? If you arn't I would ask the vet if he has ever had a puppy pass while he was performing the surgery. Good luck, you will make the right decision. Welcome to YT! You will love it here. |
