She is just starting to get her teeth, not walking yet, not yet eating puppy food , should I be worried ? Or do some yorkie's develope slow ? Both her and her sister are cubby, little short chubby legs, they are so freakin cute.. I could of stayed there all day with her.. wanted to take her home with me so bad .

				 | Do you guys think I should worry if she isn't really moving around yet ? Shouldn't she be doing this by now ? She gets up and sits.. but as for walking around .. not yet. Should I be worried ?

				 | I don't know about when they begin walking, but she sure is cute! Post in the Breeder's Forum about your worries. They'd know more. I hope she's pkay - she looks fine.

				 | My husband informed me that when we went to see Summerlyn , that the breeder did tell us that she is moving around in her bed.. just that when she is on hardwood floors or vinyl floors.. her legs go from under her.. Guess I wasn't paying that much attention to the breeder.. after all .. this was the first time that I got to hold her.. so ALL my attention was on my baby. In the litter was just her and her sister.. they both look like little piglets.. they don't have to fight off 4-5 or more brothers and sisters for milk... hopefully she will start eating solids and get off her mom's milk soon.. Will all the baby fat go away ? I hope she doesn't stay big ( chubby) like she is now. Our Hannah wasn't that chubby. Summerlyn's sister is going to be shipped out to Alberta when she is about 12wks old. I will be going back in a weeks time to see Summerlyn again.. so I will have more pics .. I can't wait !

				 | First of all, congrats on your BEAUTIFUL addition!!! Second of all, how did you get your hubby to let you get another one? I want a little girly this next time, and every time I say that my bf says, "what NEXT time?" I want one SOOOOOOOOOO bad!! I put little pictures of Beau in his wallet and say...ahhh remember when...and he still won't crack. Big jerk if you ask me!! Hahaha! Congrats again from me and Beau!!

				 | I forgot to mention that Summerlyn is so chubby at 6 weeks.. her little legs are so short and fat.. so cute.. the thing that is scaring me is that she is 2 lbs now.. will she loose this puppy fat and slim down once she is away from her mom ? Or does this mean that she is going to be a fat yorkie ?

				 | Does anyone have any suggestions as to her weight ? Just want to know if this is just baby fat from her mom's milk and if she will slim down and slow down on the weight gain ?

				 | I think she will probably slow down once she's not nursing anymore. I am getting a pup who was 5 oz. when he was born. At 3 weeks, he was 25 oz. He's a chubby little thing but I think once he's not nursing, he will slow down. He's 3 1/2 weeks and is walking around and playing with his siblings, and I'm sure the exercise will also help to slim him down a bit. Puppies always gain alot while nursing, then they tend to slow down a bit.

				 | Thanks.. I'm thinking the same thing. I know that Hannah wasn't 2 lbs until she was older. She is 9 months old now and is staying at only 4.5 lbs. So I'm hoping that the breeder of Summerlyn has made a mistake at her weight.. Can't see her being that much.. she is so small and short.. she doesn't look like she weights 2 lbs. The breeder has decided that she should keep her until she is 8 wks and a few days.. just wants to be sure that she is eating on her own.. she has been slow at doing so.. Guess I will have to wait until the 21st to get her . It is so frustrating waiting for her.. I'm just like a little kid that can't wait for christmas to get here. I'm so excited for her.
